    how do you get a better pick than the inferior one they give you free? im a armsman and i dont think i can make one, could i make one with another character and how would i send it to my other character. does any npc sell them?

    A supplier NPC can sell you a better one than the inferior and you can check the Auction house for even better ones. BTW, metalsmiths (Armourers) make them.
