Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
Jump off the proper spot in the correct direction near those coordinates. You will get the title. With each jump watch the screen for the billboard message. No billboard message - you got too low a score on your jump - the judges did not give you credit. You will have to try again.
Some of the jumps are more difficult than others. The one in Nud-Melek for the bridge jump is difficult for a lot of people. They can not find the correct place to jump based on the coordinates.
Unless stated otherwise, all content in this post is My Personal Opinion.

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
There's 2 spots in nud melek that you have to jump, neither of them is at the bridge.
Lava area south of the Second Hall
Chasm area to the north of the bridge
You also need:
the pit at Menem-Berej (aka forgotten treasury)
the pit outside Grand Stairs (Redhorn)
the pit around the giant mirror just north of 21st in Durin's Way (Jazargund)
the pit in Great Delving near the goblin camp
Dead jumps that don't count:
The well at the Crossroads (gives Well-Travelled title howeveR)
The pit between Dar Narbugud and Dark Delvings in Foundations of Stone
Jumping off the Bridge of Khazad-Dum (usually)
I want my "The Venomous" title back.

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
I am of the opinion that this deed/title is now broken.
I spent 4 hours jumping into the various pits yesterday and could not get the title.
Some of the spots you jump from give the deed message "You have found the bottom of a pit in XXX location"
Most of the spots do not give the message no matter how many different places you try jumping from or how far out you jump.
Doesn't matter whether walking, running, riding a Goat.........most spots just do not advance the deed :-(
I was able to get the deed message for 2 of the places and that was it.
Would love to get this title deed completed but I don't think it's possible anymore.

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
This has accurate locations-
http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Blind_Leaper
Well, it does *now*. I changed the entry for the jump in Redhorn Lodes to direct you to jump South from the bridge just before the camp, which I just used. The previous version had you jumping SW from the corner of the camp, which doesn't work.
Also, we had to jump East from the very Northern tip of the chasm North of the Bridge of Khazad-Dum, the jump NE from just North of the bridge at the stated loc didn't work.

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
I use http://lotro.mmorsel.com/ for much of my deed help. I got this deed on both my Champ and Hunter with the assistance of this site. I did both a couple months before ROI so if it's now bugged it happened with the expansion.

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
Here's a few things I can think of that haven't been mentioned.
You only get the message once for each spot, so if you got that spot already you won't get the message anymore.
I'm pretty sure you can get the one from the great delving in any of the pits in the area including the one on the way to deep descent. If you've ever fallen in any of those pits, you probably have that one.
Were you in a raid? Most stuff doesn't work in a raid, and this is probably one of them.
Do you have the title already? You can search for titles now. Yeah, I know dumb question, but I've made dumber mistakes.Helen - Lv 85 champ, Helenrk - Lv 85 RK, Stiiv - Lv 85 Burg, Evilhelen - Lv 75 Champion

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
hmm maybe this can solve the problem because i always tried the spots near the coordinates [7.2S, 99.8W]...
i didnt go that far north
here are some screenshots of my tries

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...nShot00030.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...nShot00031.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...nShot00032.jpg
all of these are near the coords, first two jumps were to E, the rest are to NE
i wasnt in a raid or fellowship also, i experienced that second jumps dont give the feedback too, and i am pretty sure that i didnt get first time feedback message here

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
Thats it! I jumped from 5.5S 99.8W facing South and got the title...
Btw, you dont die even going down longer than any of other pits so you have to use /stuck command to get out of there
)
thank you for the great tip shazbaat!

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
Well thanks for trying to help guys.
I did get credit for redhorn Lodes jump using the new coords.
Still cannot complete the deed and get the Title though :-(
Have tried every spot you listed multiple times and just not getting credit.
Not sure what I am doing wrong but tired of beating my head against a wall for this.
I guess for some of us it just will not work :-(
And yes I have checked my Titles and I do NOT have it yet.

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
EDIT: Never mind the above. I had misread one of the coords and when I went back again, I used the correct one and got the title. Sorry for the confusion. 5.5S 99.8W does work for the eastern Nud-melek jump.

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
If you click on the "TP Finder" link, there's tons of info for doing deeds for TP. If you click on the Moria tab and then the the Moria/Lothlorien zone deeds link, you'll get a list of deeds in Moria. This deeds is called "The Pits of Moria". If you mouse over the "?" you'll get specific map info. This site has a lot of useful information but it's not being updated anymore so keep that in mind. (Also looks like the search function on the site has a lot to be desired.)

Re: How does one obtain the blind leaper title?
This is definately correct for the Endless Stairs one. I jumped SW from the camp area 3 times with no luck. I then saw this and tried it and "bing" there it was. The funny thing is, this is my 3rd guy through here and I don't remember having problems with this one. I'm sure I was jumping from the spot up at the camp before. Must be something about the way you jump/fall/bounce. The other funny thing is that when I jumped S off the bridge, I didn't die. Had to /stuck. Thanks for the help BTW.
