Thread: The Elusive Greater Supreme Nestad Infused Parchment Recipe.

I have been keeping an eye out for this recipe, but have seen no sign of it in my hunting. I've found the regular supreme nestad recipe, and both the supreme and greater supreme dagor recipes numerous times each, but no sign of the greater supreme nestad recipe. I would chalk it up to bad luck, but I also haven't seen the output of the recipe on the AH at all, so I was curious if the recipe is dropping properly.

Is anyone able to confirm getting the greater version of the nestad parchment recipe?

I found it on Meneldor in the Laenan Caves doing Mysterious relics on an orc. The greater recipes do not drop very often. My experience talking to my friends. They rarely keep and sell recipes. They are not looking at recipes drops. They vendor all the recipes with out looking. Or never even bother picking them off the corpses. They see a recipe. Let it rot. Many of them do not use the "Loot all" function. With all the silver you get from skirmishes. Some of them never loot a real corpse any more. They open them for the silver, LIs, blue pills... Leave everything else.

I'm thinking there might be a bug as it seems that the standard Supreme is supposed to be for a minimum level of 55 and use the lower tier Ilex wood while the Greater Supreme is for a minimum level of 65 and uses the higher Mallorn wood.
Also note the difference in the -resist rating between the lower level and higher level variants.

Or can anybody else confirm that there is a separate Greater Supreme Nestad Infused Parchment recipe? There's the off-chance that Yula could be mistaken

What you are looking at is a bug. The Greater Supreme Nestad Infused Parchment is called a Supreme Nestad Infused Parchment in the recipe book. It has the Greater stats. It is level 65. It is uses the level 65 mats. The only thing wrong with the recipe book is the name on it. They got it wrong on both the recipe title and product.

It has been a long time. IIRC - The paper recipe that you learn has the correct name on it. I had just found this recipe when I wrote my previous post. Learned it. I do not play a Rune Keeper. I do not have any call to look at this group of products. Make any of them.

Interesting enough I have been unable to find the lower level recipe. The level 55 version.

Note: Turbine has some of the other recipes screwed up. I think I wrote a bunch reports about the New Captain Banner recipes. It is all naming issues in the recipe book and the names on the recipes that you pass around. I do play a Captain. This issue is much more noticeable to me.

Maybe someone else can confirm my gut feeling. I am thinking:

1) Turbine got a naming issue with the Greater Supreme Nestad Infused Parchment - recipe - recipe book - product. The level 65 version

2) Turbine never deployed the level 55 version - Supreme Nestad Infused Parchment. Or there is two of them in the game. Or some other problem.

I am not surprised that I missed something. I add recipes to my recipe books for completion sake. Many of them - I never run them.

Edit: According to the Lore Book - The level 55 recipe does not exist. Something to do on Wednesday when I am more awake. Write a detailed bug report.

Thanks for the response. I don't usually pay attention to the recipe when adding it. Just typically buy anything in the auction house that does not have a red border around it (within a reasonable price)

I'll go ahead and submit a bug report too. It's been a very long time since I've done one of those!

You might want to try to get a RK to check their trainer's vendor section for the woodworker recipe. Not sure if they sell recipes past Artisan or Master though.
