Thema: The Brethren is recruiting for new members!

The Brethren has opened recruiting for all classes and levels.

Currently we are focusing on helping people new to LotRO learn the ropes and have fun. We also have several level 65 members interested in learning the high-end instances. Whether it be raids or festivals, this kin enjoys them fully. We focus on players learning their roles in the instances towards a successful completion. Please note that we are NOT an end-game raiding focused kin. We enjoy all aspects of the game and love to try out the instances.

While we are a mostly casual kinship, we offer many great things for our members. Kinship Bank/House, grouping, questing, instances, crafting, skirmishing, etc. We also have members who are kindred with every crafting guild. We thoroughly enjoy the game, but realize the real-life activities take precedence.

Hello Brethren! It was great putting the beat down on the Turtle Raid with you all last Friday. You all really seem to have your stuff together. "The Guild" is glad to be associated with such a great group of players.

Hey guys. I just recently came back to LOtRO and I am looking for a casual, laid-back kinship. After looking around a bit, I think this may be the one for me. I have played this game before, but I've never really had any high-level characters, so I still consider myself rather "new" to the game. I'm still really low level right now and I'm not really sure how much I'll have time to play over the next couple of months. Also I'm not sure what class I'm going to play the most, but I'm leaning toward Hunter. I'm mostly just looking for a casual, low-pressure kin that is fun and friendly and helpful.

Hey Marwood, I sent your ingame character Withnail an IM, but it said player is offline. So I went to my mailbox and sent a regular msg to you. I don't know if that was what I was supposed to do. Also, I looked at the friends tab and there was no request or anything. I'm kind of lost, so any help would be appreciated.

Hi Aerulen! I have looked for you the last few nights, but haven’t see you on.

Unlike some games, the friends list in LOTRO is one-sided only. Just because I added you to my friends list, doesn’t automatically add me to yours. You have to add people manually, and then it will tell you when if they are online, and also when they come and go.

If you go to the friends tab in the social panel, you can click add, and type in any name you want. Aska and Alte are 2 officers who are on a lot during the day, so you can add them as well as myself. I believe they are aware of your interest also, so they may whisper you in-game if they see you on.

Okay. I'll probably be on later today and tommorow afternoon as well, so I'll add you and some of the other officers. I'm currently questing east of Combe in Bree, so that's where you'll most likely be able to find me, if you're looking for my geographical location.

For anyone looking for a great group of people to share their time with in LotRO, you can't beat The Brethren. I got to hang out and "party" with them last night and had more fun than any raid!

Hey there guys im currently a lvl 13 Champion Human and i would love to join your kinship. I only play during the weekends and on late Friday's so i lvl slowly. As this is my first MMORPG im pretty clueless on all the crafting and raid/skirmkish concepts, so im going to be asking a LOT of questions. Anyway if you'll have me i would love to join.

Joined up a recently. Great group of folk doing high end stuff willing to deal with a noob like me. Can't say enough about the Brethren.

How many members do you guys have?

We have had 60 active toons in the last 2 days. That doesn't take into account the alts that we have. I, myself, have 3 on Riddermark. We are always looking for new members. We do have a probation period that lets us get to know new members and them know us. Feel free to ask any of us questions online also.

Sorry, don't look at these forums as often as I should. If you are still interested (though looks like you've found a home via your sig), can contact any of the officers listed here in game (too many to list as we all have alts). While we aren't 'actively' recruiting (spamming channels), we do accept walk-ins via contact on these forums or in game. Willing to give anyone a shot.
