Thread: Good 1v1 Thread!

Gutlard, I just remembered our fight. Was that yesterday or the day before?

It had been so long since we last met. Good to see ya.

For some reason, against all other BAs, I can relax, stay at range, not totally debuff, and even chat in tells. But you. I have to fully debuff, heal, pray, sacrifice my pet to the PvP gods and melee. It's ridiculous.

Maybe it's your DP buffs. Maybe it's your voodoo jumping that messes with my head. I don't know. But great fight!

If I am not mistaken , it sounded like I got a lot of wargy love after it was over so cheers! Next time no mercy for a puppy with 4 broken paws though... See you out there.

Where's my Fire DoT when I need one....gaaaahhhhh

I only have 110k DP now, so I don't use the stat bump perks any more; just the run speed, regen & inf boost. I do use the Armour/Resist/Evade pots though fo sho and I'm sure they help!

That was a good nail biter though.

Not a single good 1v1 outside Maniaa (ty) who finally took pity on me tonight for the 30 minutes I even tried to play this game, which was pretty much a waste. Sorry Maniia that it wasn't very good - I couldn't figure out why I was melting like that...and then I realized I hadn't switched back to my audacity gear after a defiler 1v1 turned into yet another 1v6.

Pretty much given up at 1v1s. The zerg is just too strong with everyone.

Here I thought I did something right. Please stay geared like that more often..

You seemed pretty irritated after the Grothum incident - I would be too. :/

Sorry Jaiyne, ever since Nandir (BA DPS) and I couldn't put a dent in you, nor reduce your power even slightly one evening around poor TA (it was well over 5 minutes of stalemate), I have no qualms in asking for help. Whatever build or trait line you're rocking when you go into endurance mode is over the top against most classes.

Thanks for the nice spar Wyver, even thought I was power drained 85% of time, I managed to win against pro defiler, but that DR was not necessary, You've earned 162 renown points. =)

Not trolling or anything, tried a few different corruption builds to see if anything would work better, but all had the same outcome.

You were the only 1v1 I could find for awhile; after the first few you would stand there for a few secs like, "LOL again?"

Hahaha indeed,and I appreciate the fights as well. I was hoping that Cel would show up too,seeing how Badguy is one of the best names out there.

Saurnia- Thanks for the 1v1 outside of Grams today. I was sort of shocked to be tracked inside Grams after just logging on.. so after the 2nd or so track I decided to find out who wanted me dead :P Was a good fight ^_^

Darksmoke- Thanks for the multiple 1v1s near HH All 3 or so times were very close :P You hit a little harder now!! Sorry about that last one though.. I didn't mean to just disappear altogether but my internet messed up

How is it over the top? A minstrel out of warspeech isn't killing anything. They can only really heal.

That particular stalemate was because I was not in WS. So you weren't losing, but you weren't winning either. I guess it's just come down to calling stuff out - in which case, you guys will always win. I could have easily run into the nearby blue keep and lived, but my hope was to get in WS and actually fight you. Ce la vie.

At any rate, in 1v1s, I try to kill what is trying to kill me - not outlast them through heals. Defiler fights already take a lot of time and are generally not fun for me with the exception of Wyver. But next time, if I have an option, I just won't stick around for the call out that is apparently a forgone conclusion

I know a lot of people inentionally break things up because it's the fun of no-risk pvp. (see: sexysadie among others)

But I've had entire freeps raids recently just ride pass me while I'm duking it out with some creep. It's great.

having a toggle to do, and if both are doing it, no one could interrupts it would be great, but probably to hard and long to do for devs, so they will have less time to invest in new store cosmetics. but a toggle like the roleplayers are doing would at least answered peoples passing by if you prefer to get help or not

Sorry fell I see freeps I shoot. Bad placees for 1v1, x road, both of them, gta, STAB, WTAB, ptr & rez circles. Wanna 1v1 go to candy mountain.

Tree - Nice fight up by the rez. Our fights seem to take less time now. New weapon? or am i just getting worse?

Shilore- nice first 1v1.. cant really say the same for the second one though.. would of went better if that group of freeps didnt decide to take me out. I'm surprised it took them that long to blast me away though maybe next time eh?

Brands fine (not the store one thow) but most of the time if a ranked player uses one I'll burn an extra cooldown or 2 for obvious reasons. As for flayer sprint goes well with it, and my movements subpar so very effect vs me fight you in shadow any time thow.

thanks fellrotten for 2 good fights at ta. not really sure how i beat ya the first time im used to u stomping me out but even the second fight u won wasnt too bad and i didnt have one of my buffs i had from fight previous..and thanks too we met in isen im sure u wanted to settle the score but i was on mission to hand in quests before reset!

Goodfight Moonroach in Grothum last night, I knew you where there killing goblins, but didn't get a visual on you until you rounded the big rock the same time I did - we literally ran face first into each other.

Also semi-good fight Maxwellian outside of Grams. You should've done more fighting than running, we've had good fights (well one-sided in my favor I guess) in the past, I couldn't figure out why you kept running. Maybe location had something to do with it.

It's funny. I saw LOTS of something is stealth neaby signs, and even more "you feel as if you're being followed" messages. And yet, VERY few actual engagements.

Yeah, I saw you guys on the bridge and thought, here we go. I blew my sprint, my insignia, and CB and just tried to get any kills I could. It was actually a pretty fun fight.

999 to the big one now...I hope to not see that anytime soon.

I think like me you take moors deaths as a sort of rite of passage. If the fight is good the death is not that important. Have to look at it that way or I would never have fun in the moors.
