Thread: Good 1v1 Thread!

Good fight yesterday Wyyver alongside the oc/lugz rez shuffle. I never really committed to that fight as I was always expecting some wargs to jump out and nom me (I got the impression that I was becoming a bit of a priority target), so I was keeping half a mind on the best way to book it, rather than fully concentrating on the fight (which a hunter really needs to do against a healing class). Anyway, I can't begrudge you the victory, it was the same for both of us I guess. Was quite special though to actually have that 1v1 so close to both zergs and no-one notice....

Hehe, I hope we do too, but I don't think I've ever seen you ungrouped. Wyver and I have a pretty even record vs. eachother. There are a few peeps that have convincing winning records against me though. I'd mention them by name, but I don't want you getting any tips :P

You did good! I was doing better on the interrupts the second time. Two best WL I played either brought me to melee and had a prolonged fight or broke LOS like a pro. Use those trees to break los!!

I need more wargs to pounce me! I am still developing my strategy to beat you guys. I didn't know you have bleeds which knock my inductions back through my immunity to knockback by damage. That was a irritating find...thank you dirtluk . Pounce me again hopefully I won't be so lame the next time.

Well the reason why you never see me ungrouped....well.... thats cuz im never ungrouped :-) once in a while tho , and it may happen to you , i will attack you and you may kill me ( probably so ) but keep in mind youll have about 15 more wargs surrounding you in stealth. So think twice before killing me! /Puffs Chest

great fight, it brought a smile to my face to hear in Teamspeak: "where the hell are you Wyver" followed by "Probably off 1v1ing somewhere", the mere fact we were able to get away with that still makes me smile.

Seriously, while Danethor and Tengrira are missed, it is great to see a crazy hunter like you carrying the torch. I have to say I have been developing and finely tuning my Wulfy-Radar. *cough* there was the fight by Lugz where I had to run behind the rock to LOS you, hmm the ETA Norbolg fight where i charged you at the base of stab (which... really didn't work out for me). Anytime my health suddenly begins to drop fast I turn on the WULFY-5000-SENS-O-MATIC and start panning looking for you which, is a compliment of sorts I suppose.

Nice fight chiccoman starting from Dwarf camp to almost the hoardale via AE OP, was a long one and had to use the rock to kite you to remove those bloody bleeds. /bow

Nice fight Purukhai. I would have gladly found a nearby NPC to finish me off to give you points but there weren't any. You mapping back to catch me at half health did the trick though!

Also, the whole killing me to half while I was afk was a nice advantage. Nice try first time. Got me good at half health the 2nd time! Wanted to give ya points!

I haven't. But if it's one of the ones I'm thinking of then I may not want to.

WLs are crazy right now and Ml is possibly the best, or worst depending on one's perspective.

I need to stop being lazy and really up my play against healers now. Sloppy play won't cut it.

Enjoyed the fight near HH Lomelonde. I gathered someone interfered at one point, but it was devilishly close regardless.

In hindsight I probably should've let myself die from that DOT, but I spam clicking RH. :/

I tried once to get a skill off but couldn't. Literally only used 3 skills. Thanks for tracking and fighting. Couldn't find ya after I saw you killed an NPC.

sorry for that interrupt but first, we were sure the 2 bas on the hill were shooting at you too, and if you can talk to Gauchh-Kalyrya, can you tell him about the zerging "freeps with a S" interrupted the fight, not Radar the coward who didnt know how to play (the tell i received was more aggressive in french) interrupt it alone, since im on his ignore list

Truth, on all points.

Bup is a beast of a spider. I consider him a giant brown recluse spider with lasers attached to his head.

I don't really understand the above. Was it a good 1v1 or did you just want to post a screenshot of your kb?

Had a few good 1v1s today. two with Eliras, a few with Luc (everytime I fight you.. I sit closer to my screen concentrating so hard lol), and one with a guard (sorry cant remember your name) by EC in the water. Won some lost some all were fun!! -Haz
