Alphadros, you are are out there constantly seeking the fun. Awesome, awesome fights, especially the one where we both died one Lugz hill at the same time! Those are always my favorites. Sorry to get you in Grothum like that I waited for a bit to just try and fight you. Then the goblins appeared to insta spawn. I went for the pounce because I thought you were jumping We had awesome fights, and I need practice against wardens, and I had some fun

And of course Radarastiel in the Delving, thanks for the class and the 1v1

Im quite new to the moors, maybe a week in it for a couple of hours. Ive got some really good advices from Danethor, really good guy and helpfull. Appreciate it.

About our little meeting... :P I was like: Oh lord, this is going nowhere. Wound - Wound Pot - Run - Kite Yeaaaayy He has 2k less morale and BAM fully healed >.< Its always fun, I used to get all jumpy and nervous now taking it more calmly :P

Luc, hadn't got a chance to fight ya 1v1 before tonight man. Glad I could put up a good fight the second time. In case you were wondering, the first fight was awful because my fingers got drunkenly off-center and started hitting the hotkey for my character screen instead of the ones for my skills so i just kinda stood there and fumbled with my keyboard while you made me into warg burgers.
Anyway, hope to fight again sometime soon - warg v. champ is pretty much my favorite matchup. watch yer back buddy

I had alot of fun today around noon est at xroads in the 1v1's. Thanks to Arctic, Wallee, Jins, and Brugrat for the fun fights!

/salute to the creeps at xroads near EC today. Great fights. And Gersh??? (I dont remember how to spell your name. Sorry.) Thankyou. Was awesome to get to fight a warg 1 on 1 and figure out what works and what doesnt.

Arctic....I thought I had you. 8-) Was so close. Thanks for the fight.

And Stinsky. Thankyou for the 1 on 1 on BB yesterday. I chased you from OC clear to there. Wasnt sure you'd fight me. And didnt know if you'd call me out. Was so happy to see that you stayed and fought solo.

A lot of fun today - the last day of the Moors as we knew it.

My fave fights with Jins, Arctic (as always) and Brugrat! Thanks to all of you for making the 'Moors so much fun

Oh Oh and an epically long fight with Defeelher. It ended in a draw, but man, we both worked hard for that, heh. Thanks as always for being one of the coolest players on either side.

I hope this thread keeps going even in RoI. More than that, I hope those of us on both sides who dig the 1v1s can keep getting them

Good fights Vig, Cyn, Shilo, Lee, Jaiyne, and FD. I know I've missed some folks, sorry. You know who you are.

Jaiyne, not that it matters anymore, but I've tried every possible way to break that bubble today. Pounces from stealth, tendon shred, and silence don't work. Seems like it has to be a crippling bite + pounce. That, or it's just terribly inconsistent and buggy as hell, which is definately a possibility.

It actually has to be longer than 4 seconds to break it. If a minstrel is quick on their pot (silence or stun), it can stay up (normally by the time I use mine out in the open field, I am close to CC immunity already, heh). But yeah, tomorrow you can't remove it at all - but of course it's 1/5 as useful, in my case heh.

Wow, good 1v1 Ratslayer, can't believe we both died, I underestimated you because of the lvl difference but boy, I now fear the lvl 75 freeps coming into the moors eventually!

Helped me too. I need to get used to a new layout. Did it seem like the rabid bite did much?

Last night before RoI, Tailmange (r12) ambushed me riding from res back to group, I used PC, fear, etc., to make to EC where I killed him with the help of a npc or two (or more?). Not my first solo kill of a warg ambushing me, but the first with a name I recognized. A nice ending to being a healing Minstrel in the last month of the Mirkwood era Moors. In RoI, with the Minstrel changes, I'm probably going to be running in War-Speech. Go, go, Mini space lazers!

I don't post on the forums much (or at all lately), but I felt the need to in this case.

Excellent fights guys! Big thanks to all the creeps who fought me, and particularly Arctic and Morgale who kept coming back for more. You guys put up an incredible fight, and I was sorry to see it end. Alas, dinner trumps even fighting creeps.

I do wish that I hadn't had the population buff. The damage reduction isn't huge, but it almost certainly would have tipped the balance on some of those fights.

/salute to you all, and I hope to see you out there again soon!

Dagr & Melidyrien - Enjoyed the match-ups last night, even if I did go down in singed-fur defeat. Learning more and more for 1v1, and hope to be a better challenge for ya soon.

Thanks to you and the other warg and reaver as well That was my first time out at 75 and it was awesome being able to 1v1 a few of you. Cheers! I have lots of adjusting to do as well.

Nice fight with Faimli, first 1v1 of the new patch and it was interesting to say the least.

Leng, I was surprised at your lack of situational awarness. Letting a Warleader walk right on top of you and drop his banner and smack you in the head before even reacting? I mean really . . .

Also, to Simonmark, Aedon, Kynji, and the other champion whose name escapes me, Wasn't that fun when the 4 of you jumped me, and then I was all "Rawr!" And you was all like, "Ug's gonna die!" And then Chomperson was going, "Sneak Attack! Om nom nom red dress kynji nom!" and then Kynji was all, "My morale is depleted, to the rez circle, I must away!" and then you were all, "We shall unleash our swift and terrible vengeance upon the upstart, chomperiffic canine!" And Chompers was just shaking his head and going, "Not likely dudes." And then you were all like, "Curses he escaped!" and then Aedon was going, "Where'd Ugmog go?" And Simon was like "You mean they BOTH escaped!?!" And the other champ was asking, "How does a 7 foot tall armored Uruk even disappear like that anyway?"

Ugmog, that was...as you say...'fun.' I had my spiked collar on that day so you KNOW I meant business!!!

Edit: Oh yeah, Luc, dude, you literally made me scream obscenities when you jumped at me from sauron-knows-where like freaking Batman and started whirling your swords at me like blades in a saw mill before you even hit the ground. That was hands-down the most dramatic start to a 1v1 (well ok, 2v1, didnt know the other warg was there) I've ever witnessed. One second my map bar is about 9/10ths full, I'm takin it easy and settling in for a nice little trip to Poor TR, next second you drop out of the top left of my screen like some kind of Navy SEAL airdrop when they were hunting Osama bin Laden. Uh...I guess what I'm saying is, 'nice ambush.'

As far as the actual fight goes, definitely regretted giving you that freebie 10s stun from your class horn after warg #2 jumped in - I figured you were screwed and if I let you wail on us a bit that would even the fight up. Won't catch me underestimating you again, heh.

It doesn't always work...heh...it hardly ever works...but I have worked hard over the years to practice angles in my routes that lead to blind approaches. I can't recall if this was one of those places, or if I just got lucky and caught you off-guard.

Anyhow...yeah, I'm not holding back on ANY skills (not that I ever did) I've lost to WAY too many medium ranked creeps since 75 to believe this nonsense about freeps being insanely insta-win face roll OP. In fact for much of last night my 1:1 win/loss ratio was well in favor of losses...not counting the unranked nubs. And I consider myself a fairly knowledgable soloer.

Oh well...time will definitely tell.

I have had some really good fights out there however, even a not so high ranked BA gave me a run for my money, beat me once, and I smashed him the second time...but yeah...

I just wish the zerg wasn't on full auto last night. There could've been even more dynamic fighting around the map.

Yes, it was a real nail biter, you sir have scary DPS (I do admit you didn't completely catch me by surpise, I felt the lag shortly before which is why I moved in to that field a bit). Thank god Kelsan gave us some instant heals and interrupts of our own, I remember the old days where I would have to really time my heals carefully, watch for the clobber and turn my damage aura on and off to conserve power regularly when fighting champs, those were rough times.

Yep, I was facing towards Lugz hill not too far in front of the Grams 1-shotters and you came at me from I guess the Northeast? So behind me and from the left. Not an angle I was really prepared to cover well even if I hadn't been in the process of mapping lol. Well done.
And I'm trying to do my part to keep the fighting moving, I've generally tried to go on wide patrols since ROI, particularly in the HH-LC-SOP-GV region. I'm sure I'll see ya out there again.

My first foray back into solo fighting was pretty enlightening. Still not super comfortable with my new rotations, but not quite so "deer in headlights" as I was last week. Lots of work still to do on gear, etc.

Good fights with Arctic and Mawz yesterday, as well as several others. Those were the only close ones though.

Also had some amusing 4v1 fights with some wargs, lol. Thanks for the renown

Apologies to Mawz for running after our first fight...I saw you coming back and was prepared for what would have almost certainly been my death, and at least go down fighting...but I wasn't about to give free infamy to the nub reaver that was right behind you.

I did have to dig a lot deeper in that fight than I had hoped though...I REALLY can't wait to get my hands on a second age...currently I'm still using my 65...trying really hard not to switch fully over to a 75 third invest all that time/cost and then get a second...oh well I know if puts me at a disadvantage now, but I'm hoping it'll pay off in the long run.

Had an interesting fight with a rather low ranked Defiler...Slimee or something like that...sheesh...I thought that fight was never going to end. Nicely done. You'll be unbeatable with a few more ranks. As a Champ it's rare I see a full health bar against an opponent I've been wailing on for over a couple minutes.

Some other good stuff...but I'm TERRIBLE with names...you all know who you are. Lots of fast releases, so I didn't get my /swordsalute off (I really need to macro this), but well fought.

Except for the rather insane gank group at STAB...that was just silly. BA on the bridge, warg pounces...other warg jumps in and creeps start pouring out from behind the bridge pillars. I still managed to get away, and one warg died...but wow...is this kind of tactic necessary on a full red map with pop buffed freeps? Just spread out and move around. You WILL get fights. Go pick up sticks or something.

Today has already been a day of awesome 1v1s, and small group fights.

It was a nice opportunity for me to play with a new skill, and do some testing.

Baslion, Garny, Brootgar, Valgus, Funspoiler, Zin, Sorae. Very game and awesome fighting all around.

Ridiculous fight along the river towards Hoarhollow, I was really impressed by your small group tactics, and how much ### you guys were whooping over there.

Also, Zin and Sorae really cool fight when I came upon you beating up the defiler, then Brugrat was there, then Sorae was there! The fight lasted so long the defiler ran back. One thing disturbed me badly about that fight, it was how quickly I ran out of power I had nothing, power pot on CD, and it sucked, did you guys notice? People got various complaints, but right now the biggest issue slowing my warginess down is unconscionably low power regen. I feel like a nub, to stop fighting because I ran out of power. Food helps with that a good deal but its not always possible. Any of you guys logged on a warg recently?
