My biggest problem with the forums and community site is the speed it takes to load any page. It takes approximately two dark ages and an act of Congress.
I use the Community on several kinds of browsers and several internet providers and bandwidths and it doesn't matter what I use, it takes forever and a day.

Another issue I've noticed is if I click on a different tab, for example from My Lotro to Forums. Usually the first click it ignores me. I click again and it reloads the page I'm on. Sometimes. Sometimes the second click gives me what I want. This is the strangest forum site I have ever used. I've never had these kinds of issues on any other forum. I'm not a web coder or even close, so I don't know what to suggest to actually *fix* this.

I never used the "old" forums as I see in the debates on here so often so I can't compare, however it seems to me the general operation of the forums could stand to be improved.
