VIP Member You have no characters eligible for the current lotteries
I seem to be able to login and I see the lottery widget however it states "You have no characters eligible for the current lotteries" ? I also seem unable to bring up my characters on the home page where the widget is.

Are you able to view your characters in my.lotro.com at all? If not, try logging them all in and then see if they show up in 24/48 hours.
The lottery widget can only see what my.lotro.com shows it. So if you aren't seeing them in my.lotro.com then the Lottery doesn't know it exists. Likewise some players may see old, deleted characters that my.lotro.com doesn't realize are no longer valid displayed in the lottery.

I am also having this problem on my lifetime account. My premium account worked fine. Are the lotteries just for non VIP players?
Sapience, no I have not been able to see the list of charaters since F2P went live. I also could not get the list for transfering charaters to test on bullroarer when you had it up for the November patch testing.

Lotteries ignore the customer status of an account. They are available to Free, Premium, and VIP players alike.
It sounds like you are encountering a known issue in my.lotro.com that causes some characters to not update correctly. Did you have a forum name change, character transfer, or other similar service performed on your account? If so, this may be the reason your characters are not displaying.

When you chanced how you log into the forums my forum name changed from the one that I was using to my log in name but I thought that happened to everyone. Other then that I have not had any of the other things happen. I logged in the other account and she has a charaters tab on My LOTRO which I do not have for this account. I know that when the new forum first went live I was unable to log in with both my old forum name and my account name but that was fixed after a few days.

If I use the older link that I had for lotteries I can see my characters but no lottery widget. If I log onto My Lotro from My.Lotro.com I log in fine and see the lottery widget however I do not see my toons. Some were logged in earlier today and yesterday and I just looged several in as per your suggestion.
One problem I may have is that under the old link I am known as Leemole in the forum but Moleshire is my login. It was an issue from Moria when Turbine sent the upgrade to Leemole instead of Moleshire.

I found the trouble! Apparently I have 2 subscriptions and if I look at the top where is says logged in as Moleshire I can pull down and switch subscription. I do not need to re-log either. It switched to Leemole and the lotteries where there. Whew :-)

I am also having problems finding my characters in my.lotro.com. I have not had any changes to my account, I have played various characters over the past weeks (also logged them on just to be safe), checked browsers issues, used all suggested methods as alternates for signing up for lotteries with no results.
Any new suggestions?
I would really like to have the chance to participate in the lottery system.

I am having the same issue here...Checked everything that has been suggested above. Have been on all my characters, can find them on mylotro, on correct and only sub, and i have successfully entered the lottery on the first day it started...but today it says i am not eligible.

I have founder's account, played beta, too. Now playing F2P. None of my characters show up as eligible, none. I've logged in 4 characters in the last 24 hours.

Happy, happy.
They will show up if they are on another subscription. Change subscription as shown above then click on home after it states you are logged in with another subscription. You may have to wait a bit for the characters to load.

I have this same problem. The only account changes I have made is changing my email address, which despite the change being reflected in my settings, I still get lotro emails to the old email address.

I am having this same issue... I had 2 suscriptions and one was eventually removed as it was a F2P I wasn't using.
However; if I click on My LOTRO here and log in, I see all my characters and in the information page it does show that I access the forum on this account.
Should I try to delete the forum account and create a new one?

When i login into mylotro to enroll in the currant lotteries, i see the lotteries and am able to check mark them but at the top it says You have no characters eligible for the current lotteries. Does this mean i cant participate in the lotteries or what? Please advise.

It means that there are no currently active lottos. The next regularly scheduled lotto starts Monday at noon EST; try again then.

My problem is similar to this... I have been able to enter the lottery fine and can do now, however, all of my characters are out of date... and therefore either being entered for too low lotteries OR showing characters I deleted and no longer exist.
Is there any way to get my characters updated on my.lotro so the lottery shows the correct info?

Don't be so insulting Nakiami. Both the threads were relevant to my problems so I posted in both - one for non updating of the char data and one for the lotto itself not updating my lists. Different people look at different threads and forums depending on their problem. You are not a moderator - please do not act like one.

I started playing a little over two days ago and my characters still haven't shown up for the lottery. I gave it 48 hours like it said, but still nothing. There's no drop down option to change subscriptions here on the my.lotro.com page, either and it says all of my characters are archived. Should I wait longer? Is there some way to force update my characters?

I believe the data sync is currently broken, so until that is fixed, you won't be able to see your characters.

Naki was partially correct. The issue is one issue that causes two problems. First it's important to remember that characters do not update immediately. It can take 24 hours and in some cases longer for a character to update.
If a character does not update correctly, everything that requires a level check is impacted. So yes, it's one issue, that has multiple 'symptoms' as it were.

I see. And I suppose there's no ETA on that either. Oh well. I liked the lottery last time I played the game, but I barely ever won, so it's no big deal. Would be nice to have, though. Just for the fun of it.

I have a lifetime membership and have been playing this game since beta, but the character or kinship sheet on my.lotro.com never worked for me. Despite having logged in every character in the past. Might give it a go again.
