    Standard version asking for disk

I started to play a few weeks ago, downloaded the standard client from the site, installed it, no problem. Couple days ago, i had an issue with my computer so i had to do an backup, i downloaded the client from the site again but when i try to run the setup it says "Please insert Disk 1 and click OK" and "If the files on this disk can be found in a folder other than the one displayed below, enter the correct path or click browse". Thing is, it doesn't matter which folder i choose, even the correct one, i always get this message when i click OK, "the file LOTROSetup-1-1.bin could not be located in [folder where i downloaded the client]. Please insert the correct disk or select another folder", but that doesn't make sense, since it's the standard client, it shouldn't ask for a disk. I tried everything i could think of, searched every bit of the forums, help & support, google, but just couldn't find a solution. I wonder what's going on, is there a necessary program i probably lost in the backup? If anyone can help me i'll be very gratefull.

P.S.: I apologise if i posted this in the wrong thread

    Thank you.

Re: Standard version asking for disk

After researching a little more, i figure i probably lost an crucial program for the setup to run. If it's an specific codec, or something like a winrar, or an ISO (tried all of them already), or something else, i can't really say. Reached that conclusion after downloading the game in another computer, one which has never been "backed-up".
By any chance, anyone know such program or have at least an vague idea of what could it be? or any suggestion? anything will do. Help please.

    Thank you.

Yeah, that didn't worked either, i tried every way, tranfering the files before installing (the same error ocurred), tranfering the files after intalling ( when i clicked the launcher it showed a message asking to click in the "repair" button on the options, but i don't know how to access these options). That just reinforced my theory about the missing program. Anyway, thanks for answering, now i'll try to tranfer the files after downloading all of the updates.

Alright everybody, just to let you guys know, and to help anyone who might have the same problem, after speaking with a more technically inclined friend, we decided to check the new graphic board i installed, and that was the problem, it wasn't compatible with windows xp (which i was using) so i bought and installed the new windows 7 64bits and voilá, solved, easy enough huh? So yeah, check your graphic board compabilities if something like this happens.

    Cheers.

i know the problem and fixed it

You must place the lotro setup in your lotro setup bin file folder wich is there standard All you have to do is Change the name Of LOTROSetup-1.bin.download . You have to remove .download from files in your LOTROSetup.1.bin.download.
So all files are called LOTROSetup.(number).bin
