Greetings!

Seeking laid back individuals of any experience level, class, race, etc. We don't care if your and experience power raider from another game, been with lotro since beta, or logged in for the first time 10 minutes ago. To be honest, your mindset is more important to us.

I am a bit off script here so please I apologize for typos and general destruction of the English language. I also apologize for the long read that follows but, our kinship has NO drama, we are all very friendly with each other, and we have fun. Part of that is making sure we are like minded individuals with a clear understanding of what our kin is about!

Why are we looking?
We are seeking new members for a couple of different reasons. As with many older kinships, we have had folks move on, leave the game, or are playing other games in wait for the next patch. We prefer to work with the familiarity of kinship groups rather than pick up random strangers and for this reason we would like fill in our gaps.

Kinship Name:
Fortuitus Proeliator. Name is Latin. Rough translation... Fortuitus = lucky, casual, accidental. Proeliator = fighter, warrior, soldier.

General Info
We are a rank 10 kinship. We have a kinship house, fully decorated with trophies from instances and even some raid stuff.

We have been around for approaching 2 years now.

Our prime time is about 7:00pm-11:00pm CST (-6 GMT) on weekdays. Weekends see a much wider span of time with members on.

We have approximately 12 members (people) with multiple characters. We have around 30, level 65 characters between us all, with a smattering of other levels in there.

We are "mature." In the eyes of some, old farts. I (the kin leader) for example am the youngest (with one exception) at 35 years old. We have no age requirement, it has just kind of worked out that way.

We run 3 man instances, 6 man instances. At this point we do not raid for various reasons.

We have no dues, required resource gathering, mandatory event attendance, or time played requirements. We are glad to have you with us when you can be there.

We have no DKP or loot system. We don't need one. We keep our membership small as to give everyone equal opportunity to group and get loot.

We are about 75% solo, 25% group play. This shifts a lot depending on where folks are in leveling, membership goals, if someone is working a deed, needs a class quest, etc.

I'll try to summarize our philosophy and attitude as fairly and honestly as I can...

Our philosophy is centered on the idea that this is a game, we "play", and that this whole thing is pixels and bytes. We take a casual approach to the game in general. For example, if we group wipe...we groan, we get up, and move on. No drama, no need for it. Don't misunderstand me, we get things done.

We can, and do, complete every 3 man instance in the game, hard mode. We can do most 6 mans in the game hard mode etc. We don't raid as a kin but some members have completed DN, Watcher, etc. Most of us just don't have the time to commit to it due to family, work, life in general. As a result we tend to do things in scheduled 1-2 hour bursts.

We do not tell members or characters how to spend their game time.

We bend over backwards for those that help themselves and refuse to enable folks looking for a "free stuff". To put it another way, if you are willing to work at something in game you will find all of us at your side. If you are looking for hand outs, you won't find any.

In summary...

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am very much about full disclosure when it comes to kinships. I don't think there is anything worse than joining a kinship/guild to find out it is nothing as advertised. In that spirit, please feel free to send me a tell or in game email with questions or a request for kinship invite.

My characters I am playing most right now are: Templadore and McGonagle

My thanks again for reading the long post, good hunting to all!!
