I rolled healing class A to dps *nerdy giggle*

I rolled a minstrel to dps.

I rolled an archmage to dps.

I rolled a cleric to dps.

I rolled a warrior priest to dps.

I rolled a priest to dps.

I rolled healing class B to dps.

This is common in every single game that even gives an inkling of "hybrid" to a healing class.

This is also true of tanks. It's not a big deal in a game where tanks don't matter in pvp but in games where they do, it's pretty lulzy.

I don't heal on my Mini, but I don't group either. I tried healing, but watching green bars is just boring to me, the few times I went to the moors on him I did trait healing and that exactly what I did.

joined the group? heal plz unless told otherwise. wanna kill stuff? well..get in WS and blow it up!

When in War Speech, I'm decidedly NOT a healer, I'm a FIGHTER and a darn hard one at that.
How long have I been playing a Minstrel? How about first beta? That long enough for you? That's part of what makes this so gallling. Skjald has been around since the game began, and now I'm going to have to retire him.

Yes, I take this seriously, so poking fun at me isn't going to make me any less angry.

Serious depends on your activity. Not everyone is obsessed with leveling up. For my part, I spend a lot of time writing and playing music.

As for retiring because of glowy hands, the answer is yes. I want to play in Middle Earth. I have no interest in being in yet another flashy WoW clone. I'm here for the setting, and when things like this are done it undermines the setting for me. When it's other people, I can ignore it by not grouping with them. When it's ME, there's nothing I can do except stop playing.

Different people have different priorities.
