Thread: Creep Surrender

Last night’s stand at TR was epic and the first of many more painful nights for the creep horde. I find the chat discussion above quite telling for a number of reasons of which I will discuss shortly.

For those of you who I have recently met on the "Field of Honor" I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the "Resistance" and provide a "Returning Vets" observations on the state of affairs with regards to Gladden PVP. For the players that I have had the privilege of leading into battle with the cards stacked against us on many occasions in the past, thank you for your trust and confidence in me and I am looking forward to many more nights of "Bringing the Pain" to the so called "Creep and Freep Leadership" that believes organized and agreed upon terms for a fight are worthy of the Ranks they proudly wear on their toons. I have been sitting on the sidelines for the last couple of weeks watching and learning and I make this promise now.....I WILL NEVER AGREE TO TERMS OR CONDITIONS FOR A FIGHT IN THE MOORS!!!!! Creeps if you want your infamy then from this day forward your going to have to earn it....period. No more infamy and reknown farming while Valistar is leading the charge into battle.

Now about that post above....

The discussion in the screen shot above tells me a few things of note ( I am an analyst by trade with 30+ years of experience so people listen to what I have to say in the real world):

1. Creeps Surrendered! They were hurt last night after they were unable to steamroll us out of TR. Great Job Free Peoples!!! Stand your ground and make them earn every keep and their Infamy!!!!!

2. The fact that they approached me for organized fighting tells me this is common practice and acceptable behavior to both sides for Reknown/Infamy gain.

3. IF THIS IS HOW THE RANKED LEADERSHIP ON BOTH SIDES GAINED THIER PRECIOUS RANKS WHILE I WAS GONE FROM THE GAME THEN YOU NO LONGER HAVE MY RESPECT AND YOU SURE DON'T DESERVE ANY RECOGNITION OR RESPECT FROM ANYONE ELSE!!! SHAME I CAN'T VIRTUALLY RIP THOSE RANKS FROM YOUR SHOULDERS BECUASE IF I COULD I WOULD!!!!!

4. There are a select few in leadership positions on Freepside that have fractured and splintered our players and based on my observations they want to keep it that way....makes it easier to control the infamy/reknown farming.

Now if these observations upset you or stir your emotions then chances are the "Shoe Fits" and your part of the problem. I have no issues with people playing Creep, Freep, or both however, if you do play for a side then commit to the side and stay on your side of the fence. You are ruining the fun of the moors for everyone.

Freep Side needs to unite. Together we can stand against these so called "Leaders" and have a lot of fun in the process. It's more fun, for me at least, not knowing what the other side is going to do. In any event, all I ask is that you have patience as we rebuild and I promise you we won't win all our battles....but those Creeps will know they have been in a fight and earned the precious infamy they seek.

Without infamy they don't progress so by god make em earn it!!!!!

lol. The rest of the story obviously being you tried to turtle in TR so you could farm renown where it was easiest for you, creeps tried to make you earn it, so you surrendered and logged.

By the time I got on last night, creeps had numbers, were pushing constantly, and dominating, until we got enough EA out there that we could push back a little.

You can sit where it is easiest for you to farm renown all you want. But don't expect creeps to constantly come feed you just because you insult them. Nobody cares if you think people listen to you in real life.

Very entertaining thread to read Val! So, you are the glorified LEADER of the resistance now? Feel free to call me Darth Wolfgash, if it helps to rally your forces.

Didn't Valistar get caught farming himself when Aeons and himself were pushing for rank 10? So those who are high rank and took place in rank farming lost his respect? Can you lose your own respect, is that legal?

Can you explain how you can determine a pattern from a singularity? Also, how do you know that Homeless Joe was not acting on his own with no other Creeps aware?

3. homeless did this on his own because glee refused to push the keep with them having over a raid hiding in tr he was more less just trying to make it so we could have a fight and not pve but just like the old valistar all he did was turtle turtle turtle like last night atleast if ooty was gonna turtle in the keep he would had oil up -.- fail more

Most of this I will not waste my time answering...not worth the effort. This is far from a singular incident and I have truckloads of experience leading people in and out of this game. We pulled the troops together last night to make a stand and guess what......the Creeps left Butt hurt because they no longer had the advantage and the ability to steamroll us.....get used to it there will be many more nights like this in your future.

There may have been even numbers even in the keep however, split between two raids and the star farmers tagging along is not the time to make stand in the open field. I'm not going to lead a force to provide you free infamy when we don't stand a chance; your going to have to earn your infamy or go back to farming your friends at the rez circle.

When Freep side can commit and come together as a single force you guys are going to have your hands full. Over time we will previal. There are leaders on both sides of the fence that don't want to see the this happen. I can't stop all the star farmers or 1v1 farmers however, the days of organized reknown/infamy farming are over.

So what you are saying is....Creeps be prepared to deal with Turtling freeps I pity all you that felt Valistar would bring a positive change to the moors. He invented Turtling haha

Val, you just stepped on a whole bunch of flipflopping, infamy/renown farming, crybaby toes. Don't concern yourself with it too much though. They are actually a very vocal minority and it's time their days of dominance came to an end so the rest of us can enjoy some real pvp in this game.

Gunnor buddy I think you missed the point. Valistar ended pvp for that moment because he would not move out of tr. At a minimum the fight should have moved somewhere with less npcs. That is why is he is getting slack.

I was not there for this part as we came out on our freeps about the time val left the moors, but both seemed to agree the numbers were even.

PVP did not end at that point, it happened, just not on their terms....Creeps went home with their tail between their legs because it wasn't "easy mode" any more.

Nah, I get it fine. The creeps turtling in TA during one of the TA shufflles is all good but let freeps start playing conservative and trying to hold the only Keep they have on the map and watch the crying begin.. I was there. Creeps had the healing, the focus fire/dps and number advantage for most the entire fight. We had less than a raid for most the entire stand. If we pushed, we got wiped.

That is funny after the turtling was over we got a raid going and pushed the map in some time and took the map. Having the element of surprise is another tactic than turtling, try it.

Its funny how freeps QQ when theyre losing, and they QQ when other creeps flip over to help, to even out the odds and pvp. I really dont understand what is wrong with you, but RP much? Valistar isnt the answer to your prayers, maybe if he came back with a pair it would be different. He turtled before, hes going to do it again. Freeps will only start to PvP and possibly win when they stop thinking about dying, and start playing their classes for what they are. Considering this has not happened in the last 3yrs (any yes, having numbers and zerging is not winning either, nor is flipping the map blue), unless of course NQ, EA, Phalanx (the real phalanx) and or OTG were out, the pugs and fail RP players that come out will only feed the already OP/ezmoder creeps. Gunnor, you should join the dark side and be ezmode, its so much fun.

As for the amount of freeps in TR u say u had smaller force, but there were all these freeps around, so as u should of done, was work with the other freeps around u in the cg room that was farmed by a full raid of creeps..on your own top floor,,creeps held that floor , not one push from any freep force inside there OWN keep , on there own TOP floor for over 1 1/2 hrs ,and still not one push from the cg room ...it was fun watching flaming freeps fall off dead from the arch over the cg room,,kinda like shooting cans off a fence...if any body was butthurt is was the freeps tucked up next to there CG hiding left and right of the doorway shivering they might get shot or cut down by our barrage of BA`s an spiders....over 16 light armour classes that includes wargs, 3 wl`s, 4 reavers, 2 defilers....on YOUR top floor in your own KEEP held u at bay...( u have been farmed )dont worry our PLUNGERS go back on line Monday..u remember those right val,,but now they can be healed by a rnk 9+uruck heal and 6 other creeps around him....u may want to look at the ranks u have not fought before and know what they can do...........

Now u make a statement we have to earn our Infamy....Dont worry we`ll earn our Infamy...u just make sure u earn yours ,just because u have a keep and numbers dosnt mean creeps will fight ,,,u might want to get some good reading Mats for a long sit in and board games will help also...........

I`ll say this, after this weekend there is no free passage to freeps for keeps or op` just like Val said,u want them, earn them,and when we degut u in the moors i dont want to hear QQing on the other side .. RESISTANCE thats what u call it now ,sounds good...

Oh hey Val,,just because Aeon`s an genbu are gone dosent mean a thing or that a bulk of our rnk 8 plus creeps have transfered off , I`m still here and i know you and how u fight .and we have trackers just like u to so i know the numbers in ur raid or not..and i wont waste time using everything at my disposal to root u out,,and u can bank that,,,if u need a ref,,ask ur resistance buddies.....

And don't worry, just like in the books, the leaders of the different clans will put differences aside and start working together. Those days where the few leaders we have constantly pushed on creeps in their Keeps for one wipe after another, feeding creeps infamy, are over (No more farming). However, you will get pushed, pushed all the way back into the Steps of Grams from hence your evil kind spawned.

Really? I do not know about some of the other freeps that also play creep, but when I am in a raid and facing "my friends" I expect to die and die often because I get the opposite of a free pass. They will make sure I die as much as possible and that has been standard protocol creep side for a very long time. If we were friends with someone on the other side then we were going to kill them as much as possible.

I guess I did not get the memo that I was supposed to get a free pass when fighting my friends. :-/

I find myself a little confused by the title of this thread, since from the content of the OP I can only surmize that it was actually the freeps who surrendered and refused to fight when the creeps would not agree to their terms. It is surely anyone's right to cower in NPC's so they can farm easy kills, but if numbers are even then it goes without saying that the side hiding in a keep is definitely waving the white flag.
