The Last Refuge has decided to open it's doors and begin accepting recruits. As the fellowship journeys south, the Rangers have put out the word that more allies are needed. The goal of TLR is to build a strong force to be there when the *stuff* hits the fan.
We are currently accepting applications for all classes and all levels. That is right.. ALL levels. Subscription or F2P!!!
We already have members proficient in all Crafts who are willing and able to help you improve your gear. We have the knowledge and know how of all instances within the game, have a proven record of success from the release of this game to the most recent content update with the exception of the LT of DG.
If you are interested in joining the ranks of TLR, please visit our website (link below) and fill out the application. You may also contact any member of TLR that you find in game including myself.
Shameless Bump.. we have re-opened recruitment to TLR. If you are a casual to mid-core player, interested in running end game content while enjoying the social environment provided by competent leadership then please visit our website (posted above) and fill out the application or contact Aeglis or Jenidal in game.
Shameless ,Shameless bump......but really TLR is a rank 10 kinship that is rebuilding itself now that many free to play players are starting to reach higher level content.
The community base is VERY experienced with most players currently in the Central, Mountain, and Western time zones.
All members and officers are very friendly and ALWAYS willing to lend a hand to any level character with time, directions help and equipment.
TLR continues to grow. If you are a casual to midcore player looking for a mature group to enjoy LOTRO with, then this might just be the kin for you.
We still maintain an 18+ requirement, most members are mid to late 20s+.
Drama is not tolerated as we believe in mutual respect. We all play this game as a source of entertainment and social enjoyment and would love to continue to add to our ranks people who are interested in building friendships while enjoying the content provided by Turbine in a fun and casual community.
If your interested in applying to would like to know more about our family of friends, visit us @ http://refuge.guildlaunch.com or contact any member of TLR in game.
I would just like to update everyone on the status of The Last Refuge. Our leadership has been working hard and has recruited a number of new members increasing our ranks, but we are still looking for people who love the game and want to enjoy every corner of Middle Earth with us.
One of our leaders is now participating in a Saturday Role Playing event and is inviting all members who are interested to join in. Our Calendar over the last week has included among other things successful Watcher, SG, Helegrod (Giants, Spiders and Drakes in one night), School/Library and Grand Stair runs.
We are looking forward to upcoming runs such as Watcher, Rift and Survival of the Barrow Downs (all on our calendar now). Plus 3 and 6 man/woman runs in places like the School, Library and various Moria instances.
So if any of this interests you please come check us out at http://refuge.guildlaunch.com where you can apply and see some of our newest accomplishments and website improvements.
This week continues to show growth in the Refuge we have now reached our first milestone of over 25 ACTIVE members, but we are still recruiting. If you are looking for a friendly, active, adult environment and enjoy all aspects of game play we could be the right place for you. Our website www.refugekin.net has all the information. Even if a class shows closed please feel free to submit an application and one of our officers will contact you.
So this week we have seen the Watcher and Turtle fall in the same night. We have paid a visit to the Balrog and although because of time constraints he waved goodbye after our first attempt he will fall to us again VERY soon. We continued to raid our way through Helegrod's Giant and Drake wings this week seeing the bosses fall. We have started our new Barrow Downs challenge mode seeing a time of 20 minutes as our maximum for a 6 man group and over 15 minutes for a 12 man group. We have continued our runs in the School and Library to assist our members with getting their second age weapons and more.
Thanks for being so interested in our activity level, Geliroth. Good to see other kinships taking an interest.
This past month has seen TLR boom with activity. Welcome to all our new members, it has been a delight to get to know each of you and I look forward to continuing to game with you.
We have put raid recruitment on a hold to give our new members attention and prepare for the content coming with the next update. We are excited to see what Turbine has in store for us all. While recruitment is on hold for our raiding core, we will always welcome like-minded, mature gamers looking for an active kin with an appreciation for our recreation time. I invite anyone with a sense of humor, a desire for camaraderie and a mature outlook on gaming to contact any one of our officers to inquire about membership. Happy Hunting!
This was my first kinship, great group if you ask me.
Then the main leadership quit and I got invited to move to D'Haran.
It worked fine for a while, but then I got kicked out of D'Haran and now I'm astray!
Maybe I should have stayed in TLR. I've found some *old* members around and they are very nice people to group with.
Well, it's the GLFF kinship now :P
Beside the occasional *ninja-loot-rat-group* I can't complaint of it being too bad.
Moving along, it's still PASSION-FOR-LOTRO at its max!
This kin was originally built by strays, for the refuge of fellow strays. The Founder of this kin is back, Huzzah! Therefore our criteria for acceptance has risen. Few are invited, many are shunned. If you're interested in joining for a trial period PM Tamorah online. OR!! Check out our site at http://refuge.guildlaunch.com/index.php?gid=121638.
