Thread: Public Service Announcement: User Created Channels

I would like to remind everyone of the presence of some of the great user created channels we have on Windfola!

Of course we have the ever popular GLFF, but we also have...

GOOC
GTrade
GAdvice
GRP (This is a global role-playing channel)

GOOC has been especially active lately. Remember, to join a user created channel, type:

/joinchannel [channelname]

Then, to type in the channel you have joined, type:

/1

You can join up to 4 user created channels and each one you join gets assigned a number (1-4) based on the order in which you joined them. To see what channels you have joined, type:

/listchannels

This will come up with a list that looks like this:

Current User Channels:
uc1: 'glff'
uc2: 'gooc'
uc3: 'gadvice'
uc4: 'gtrade'

In order to leave a user created channel, type:

/leavechannel [channelname]

This is excellent information.
As long as I've been playing this game and I never understood what the user channels were or how they worked. LOL

Quick question: How do you leave a channel/remove it from your list?

There is GAdvice, unfortunately, I'm the only one in it atm
I have been thinking about a roleplay channel though, that would be good. Especially now that we are going to be having a weekly RP gathering.

The unfortunate problem is that each character can only join 4 user created channels. I know a lot of people have kin alliance channels that they are in.

But I shall add GRP to the list, to match the Global theme We'll see how that goes.
