Feedback: Official LOTRO Merchandise
We’re very excited to announce The Lord of the Rings Online™ Official Merchandise! Just in time for Holiday shopping, the WBshop.com now features Mugs and Mouse Pads featuring official LOTRO imagery! We’re very pleased to be able to bring our players these much requested items.

It's about time we got some LOTRO stuff! Nice to finally see and hopefully there will be more stuff like sweatshirts, etc. added in the future. I ordered two mugs!
It's a start, though I'm not very impressed with the offerings. Now we need shirts, calendars, posters, soundtracks (previously unreleased music, that is), buttons (we know you have'em), stickers, notepads/notebooks. Can I have action figures that look like my characters?
How about a LOTRO mouse to go with my Darth Maul mouse? *snickers*
A Jeweled Bell Key Chain, making it *Jingle* *Jangle* would be an added plus too
These items look cool, only thing I could see myself buying would be a Mug as I no longer use a Mouse Pad, oh and Shirts would be awesome! Maybe we can get the Gollum Doll down the Road?
Main: Kraden Kidtrell "The Past Is What Defines You, But The Future Is Yet To Be Written."
The shop needs better pictures, in particular more resolution.
I would actually be interested in the MoM cup but all I can see is a bunch of characters running the bridge. I have no way to tell whether that is too cheesy live and in color. I would have preferred if something without cartoon characters had been chosen, such as just the Moria entrance, or generally landscapes without characters.
Too bad there aren't more of the bust statues beside Boromir and some of the orc/goblins, those looked pretty cool. I loved the chess set and what few of the collectable figures there were.
I was hoping for something prettier with elves on it or maybe a Shire theme. I also think hats or t-shirts would be more popular. How about some plain black hats or t-shirts with the LOTRO logo on them? A "I'd rather be in Middle Earth" bumper sticker would be a good addition as well.

Re: Feedback: Official LOTRO Merchandise
This is just the first batch of items. We are looking at adding more in the future so if you have something specific you're interested in seeing, please let us known and we'll pass it along to the merchandising team.

Any chance we could get Witch King of Angmar Bobbleheads?
I'd have been excited about this stuff two years ago. Now I'm kind of "meh" to be honest. Still, I'm happy for those of you who've been waiting.

Numerous alts across three servers
The artwork is nice, but it seems out of place on a mug. IMHO, something with a transparent background like text, a logo, or a drawing of an item would look better. Of course, I have way too many mugs already and probably wouldn't buy one anyways, so take my opinion with a grain of salt
Not exactly what you asked for, but the WB Lord of the Rings store (not LOTRO) has:
Good sir, you have made me a happy camper. Thanks for the links! +Reputation to you.
Given the astoundingly high sales of the Sauron bobblehead (how could they not be high?), I'm confident that the merchandising time will consider my suggestion.
Besides... Merchandising! Merchandising! Where the real money from the game is made. LOTRO: the T-shirt, LOTRO: the coloring book, LOTRO: the lunch box, LOTRO: the breakfast cereal, LOTRO: the flamethrower--the kids love this one--last but not least, LOTRO: the doll.

I would love some items with the class logos on them! Pins/mugs/shirts/bumper stickers/anything really.
And I know this is probably a long shot, but I would pay an insane amount of money for something like WoW's FigurePrints.

I'd be interested in something with the elf maid art from the splash screen from...the summer before last, I think. Ideally a Tee.
Kinship items:
Simply put, draw off the database, let us order things ala Cafepress, with our Kinship name on them.
PvMP Rank/in-game title based items:
Complex from an e-commerce standpoint, but if you could dynamically create items reflecting your title or rank in-game, that would develop an incentive to pursue the title.
Décor figurines:
Imagine a mini Keg-of-Moria on your computer table, desk, etc.
Calendars:
Choice screen shots from the game, maybe add-in dates like Bilbo’s birthday.
Soundtrack CDs:
Might be nice to see the game music on disc again. Plus possibly a “sounds of” disc.
Cloth banners:
Cloth banners from the factions we see in-game.
Art Books:
Akin to what we’ve seen in the Collectors Editions of the game.
Hard-copies of the game:
Lets face it, not all of us like to download the entire game if we have to re-install. Periodic refresh disks would be nice.
Smartphone Apps:
Sure, not WB Store stuff, but lets face it, a nice app to track people in-game, stuff of that nature, I’d pay a few bucks for.
Polo, Golf, related shirts:
Nice shirts please, not dumpy t-shirts.
Hockey Jerseys:
Yes, I want a big jersey with the Gondorian tree on the front. Or maybe another with a fat Eye of Sauron on the front. You get the idea.
The merchandise is gorgeous! Well done! I too would like to see the class icons on merchandise. You have loads of options graphically as well as what products to offer. I think mugs are a good first step.
When I order the collector's edition of one of the expansions the poster included was on paper that had been folded and so was creased...huge creases. Maybe you could offer some posters shipped in a tube?
No idea where Turbine headquarters is...but at those prices suspect NY. Heh anyone who paid that much for a mousepad in Texas would have a line of salesmen circling his house.
Glad to see Merchandise at last! Though the artwork is nice, I would love to see more items with scenes from in-game (i.e. scenes of actual game play) given how beautifully rendered the world is. Maybe you could do something that other online photo stores do and allow players to use their own screenshots to put on a mug, mousepad, T-shirt, etc.
And when will you be adding the Inn League Sinister Keg for purchase in real life? I've always wanted to wake up in a pig-sty in the Shire.

Turbine is near Boston...
but those items are sold thru the WB online store...they priced em..they ship em from wherever they are ...
I think WB could be a bit restricted with what it can reproduce by way of figurines, weapons and\or armour I'm guessing since there's pretty strict licensing on what can be reproduced 'officially' by the likes of Weta Workshop for eg.
I'd love to see some items of clothing at some stage, caps, t-shirts, vests, so long as they were like 95% LoTRO themed and only 5% WB logo.
Having said that I'm sol anyway not living in the US or Canada!
I still use a mousepad. I use one called a WOWpad, and it has nothing to do with World of Warcraft. Check Amazon. It's $10. I think I paid $8 or $9 at Office Depot or OfficeMax for mine. It's large and almost paper thin. I really like it. It would be cool if I could get the same pad with a LOTRO pic on it. I'd pay a few bucks extra to get a WOWpad with LOTRO branding. What I don't want is a cheap (quality) mousepad with a LOTRO logo. I'm picturing something like what I would get if I ordered one from a photo lab with a picture on it. If I wanted that, I'd just submit my own LOTRO screenshot or logo to the photo lab and order a custom mousepad for probably less money. The first thing I did when I saw the LOTRO mousepad was I clicked on the details to see if they had worked out a deal with one of the well known mousepad makers, but it doesn't appear to be the case. I appreciate the effort, but it's not something that I would use.

The server at my.lotro.com is taking too long to respond.
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
Well these might be nice if we could all actually get them, but "ships to US and canada only" kinda restricts things. Thanks for not acknowledging the rest of the world - hate to have to drag you into the 21st century where life exists outside the U.S.
Bit underwhelmed that after 4 nearly years merchandise finally comes out and it is just 3 mouse pads and 2 mugs. All hail the marketing/production power of WB...not!
Class specific shirts would be nice, such as a black t-shirt made like the "FBI", "POLICE", "SECURITY" shirts but that say "*******" or "WADEN". With a small (3" diameter) class logo on the front.
ps. love the idea for a burg shirt (or mug) "Burgs do it from behind" !
I've put the Moria mug on the holiday wish list. Now if the baseball caps and tees were available, we wouldn't be talking wish list. We'd have been talking sizes, orders and charge cards!

dont complain to Turbine about that...its not their bailiwick
that is WB's store...and its the WB's decision...got nothing to do with Turbine.
