I don't see many burglars about, and very few minstrels. Lore Masters however, well, you can't walk more than a few paces without stepping on a bear's paw or being blinded by feathers.
My suggestion though is just go with what you like playing.

I agree with this except for the minstrel part. But maybe that's because I am biased. I rolled a minstrel for two reasons... the RP characterization that I wanted my character to have and... I love to heal. I love playing the healer in groups. However, as of late, I have seen minnie after minnie pop up. Now, I don't know how it is in the upper levels, though because I tend to log on and get distracted by playing music for 2 hours. :-/ Yeah. It's true. hehe... so I am only level 39 (maybe I'll make that 40 tonight).
But I couldn't agree more with:

Burglars tend to be on the low side from what I've noticed, but it's not by a lot. Just play whatever class appeals to you the most and have fun at it. There's plenty of groups these days to keep you busy no matter what class you are.

I saw this same trend in the months after the game first launched a few years ago. At first Minstrels were scarce and if you had one you had no trouble finding groups. As soon as I logged in I'd start getting /tells from people wanting me to join their fellowships. Then after a few weeks I saw a lot of new Minstrels running around, which I took to be people raising their own in an attempt to make up for the shortage.
However, while it's easy to roll a minnie it's quite another thing to stick with the class and raise it up to it's full potential. And so even today, if you monitor /glff more often than not you will still see lots of groups looking for a healer.
Bored and I'm a bit of a geek, so here's what I put in another thread, where someone was complaining about too many guardians running GB on Arkenstone:
As of this afternoon, levels 20-26:
hunters 24
champions 14
guardians 12
minstrels 11
captains 6
burgs 5
loremaster 4
runekeeper 3
warden 3
Total 82
Seems like a pretty normal distribution to me. I think if you have access to it, roll a runekeeper, if not then roll a burg. If you're worried about being able to get groups at level 65, roll a captain.
