Thanks for the laugh. I needed it.

Hringoril, my Champion, prefers a short beard -- while he admires the Dwarven predisposition for long beards, shorter beards are harder for enemies to grab in battle.

Tornvar, my Guardian prefers his beard long, and usually ties it to his belt so it's not in the way when he takes axe and shield to the Dourhands.

As for Haukfinn, my Hunter, he prefers his beard short as well, mainly because long beards and bowstrings do not mix well.

This thread is nearly pure perfection;
the one thing that dims it's perfection is the fact that the OP's signature refers to damn scottish Dwarves.
*Sigh*

Scares thing to an Orc is a long beard Dwarf barring an ax and yelling a battle cray.
