New player here, just started at the beginning of F2P, though we have bought MoM so are are currently counted as paid.

I am trying to understand the crafting crit mechanic. From what I can tell it involves something along the lines of you take a crafting recipie and some type of crit item (dropped item/crafted scroll etc) and combine then when making the recipie you then get a chance to crit and make an upgraded version of the recipie. I have looked at the wiki and Darzil's Crafting Guide and see that only certain recipies can crit. I have pretty well summed it up or am I missing something?

Another question, people talk about a crit percentage where can that be viewd at during the process?
