Thread: Anybody else got their forum account and history wiped out?

Yeah, I guess another change that screw things up, is buggy, and nobody asked for. Ah, and makes Lotro accounts vulnerable to hacking, heh.

Nice going Turbine, another great decision.

The game of lotro that we all used to play, is gone. Turbine is proving time after time that they do not care about the long standing customer. What they need is to pump new players in.


The sooner everyone comes to terms with this, the better off you will all be so that you can decide if you want to stay.

Easy for you to say Grumpy you have all your posts history and the reps I gave you :P

Srsly though, there was some good from the changes, but also some bad. Going to take more than a week or 2 for me to decide if overall it was for the better, and I think that most of us have been around long enough to know that following a content update MP is ALWAYS at low ebb for a few weeks while ppl run around and try the new stuffs.

Parially yes. All my posts from SOA Beta, SOA and MOM seem to have vanished in the breeze. That's the way it is. I'd rather they fix some of the long standing issues in the game than fiddle with the stuff that isn't broke. I miss my old in game access page too, it was nicer, less busy. Sometimes progress for progress sake isn't.

heh. I posted that and then noticed I had all my history and rep. I immediately thought to myself what you said.

I also wanted to say that I didn't say that the changes to Lotro were bad, just that this was a new game. Much is the same (for good or for bad), but much has changed. I'm still playing all the time and paying for my subs, so it's not all doom and gloom.

They do forum purges, cleans out threads that don't have a recent post.

Why is it that your new rep boxes make me even more jealous than your old ones?!
