Thread: [Plugin] Horsey!

For those of you who just can't decide which mount you want to ride at the moment, check out Horsey!

Horsey! will randomly select from a Stable of mounts you select, giving you a custom ride each time. Horsey! also comes with Horsey for Pets! and Horsey for Other!, which can be used to randomly select a pet, or any other skill.

Horsey! has been upgraded to version 2.0! Changes include:

• Horsey! is no longer dependent on the Turbine directories - it's now standalone!
• The pop-up Horsey! window now saves it's location.
• Stable size doubled to 30 slots.
• Stable now includes a soft green background to increase visibility.
• Opacity of the main icon when not in use has been increased somewhat.

I'm going to test this today, I'm very happy that someone came up with this, as it was one of the plugins that I requested during beta!

What a great idea for a plug-in! I can't wait to get home and try it out. Thanks for making this!

Any chance you could make another addition to this plugin, one specifically for goats? (Goaty?) I dislike using the goats outside of Moria, so right now I have mine in Horsey for other, but I dislike the big ? box that one uses, I'd much prefer a simple goat icon like the horse icon for Horsey.

not discourage use of this plugin, but functionality is already available from TonicBars plugin, under extended bars : predefined : (horses, ponies & etc)

Does TonicBars have the random function? That's the reason I use this one.

Yes it does, it will random an extension when you mouseover it. Works wonderful.

I can't get this to work. I get the icon I filled in all my horses but i can't left click it to get a mount choice. I also can't get another plugin to even load. Am I missing a setting or something?

Bumping this up. I, too, can't get the plugin to work. I can alt-click and get the panel to add horses from my collection, but primary click doesn't bring up a horse mount option. Everything looks good, so I know I'm missing something, I just can't find what.

Since rushl has become too busy to update Horsey, I have uploaded a patch to Horsey that will allow users to select the size of the stable. When you click on the arrow in the stable to select the size, now you can select between 1-10 rows, and 1-30 columns, for a total up to 300 mounts.

I also changed it so the save data should be compatible with non-english clients, and the UI will also now hide when F12 is pressed.

Does Horsey! have a mode where you can get a listing of the mounts that looks like the text mode of Travel Window?

If not, that would be a great feature...

How do I move the icon. I've done it before but now I can't remember how. I've tried everything I can think of.

Nevermind, I'd been trying to left click and drag (among other things) and it wasn't working. Nor all of a sudden it is. I had to get right on the edge of the icon to "grab" it.

And now it's not working again. But on a different character. This is really frustrating. And weird.
