Thread: Sons Of The Seven Father (all dwarf kinship)

Due to a recent expansion of officers and leaders within the kin, we've decided to start a new thread for the kin. This thread is for all things Sons of the Seven Fathers (soth7f) related.

From the original founders:

"Casual has always been our style in LoTRO. Although we've done and do enjoy doing some of the most "hardcore" content, we don't really consider ourselves as such. We've both been in so called "elite" kinships and don't have very fond memories of it. So we know all to well ways to NOT run a kin.

So, this kin will be quite broad. We'd like to do a little bit of everything and we would welcome all styles of gameplay. Whether you only play a few hours a week or many hours a day. Whether you only like to solo or you always find yourself in the middle of a raid. A good kinship should never be a full time (or even part time) job. It should always be something you can enjoy on your own time and your own terms. Something to get together a quick and hassle free GS run, organize a lengthy assault on BG, or just chat while you wait for your laundry to dry. And we understand perfectly that sometimes people just aren't in the social mood on any given day and only want to go kill some boars or craft on their lonesome. The most important thing to get from a game is fun and enjoyment, not unneeded stress and burden.

There are a number of ways to join our rapidly growing Kin, you can:

Ask any one of our members to get you in touch with one of our officers. You can also ask around in /ooc, or /regional. If you are having problems finding an officer online when you are on, you can also post a message in this thread, PM me, or send me an in game mail.

Not too active right now, but I'll see if I can move one of my Dwarves to this kin. I have one of my own (kin) but it's a purely personal kin only.

I will be on most evenings except Wednesday's from around 7pm - 11pm and weekends when I'm not working on "honey do" lists around the house.

The kin, BTW, thus far, has been a blast to be a part of and I want to thank each and every one of you for that! Some very cool people helping each other out. Good times! Looking forward to the trouble, er, fun we'll have at higher levels. ;-)

Is there a search feature to search kinship members? I have a lv 9ish Dorf called Grimlock and although soloing is a great way to see the world there are times I need helpful pointers (ie someone to explain about traits/deeds in a "Idiots guide" talk ).

Will keep an eye out for soth7f members.

Ostanfin, look for any of our kin online and send them a tell. They should make it happen for ya.

i've been asking around the main town area of bree without any luck.... is any1 on?

Elgulf -- RK level 10 & rising! And...I'm a dwarf, obviously!!

I love the idea behind this kinship, I am a new player and would love to join. My toon is a lvl 15 guardian, dwarf. I'll look for someone online. But would be happy to receive an invite, usually on in the evenings from 8pm EST on.

I would love to join if you guys have an active Ventrillo server (used for more than raiding, but just overall socialization).

I can't ever find any of the officers on though. Are you guys still an active kinship?
