Thread: Enedwaith repeatable reputation quests (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

Looking for clarification.

I currently have 5 Grey Company/3 Algraig because I took the Feeding the Company quest (yea yea, figured it out after the fact that Algraig has very little rep throughout Enedwaith). I know there are several other dailies but as for rep, is this it?

I must admit this is pretty odd. We had numerous dailies in Mirkwood but now we have so few, generally speaking. I am halfway to Kindred with Grey Company and about halfway to Friend with Algraig. With 3 dailies it'll take me 35 days to make Kindred (I think my math is correct). Ugh.

If this is by design I'll (obviously) deal with it and trudge through the Algraig rep grind for the next 35 days or so. If I'm missing something, please enlighten me.

I'm also a bit unhappy that the gold tokens are gated behind small fellow questing. I know the Algraig has one quest (that I don't have) so now I'm screwed beyond doing fellowship questing. While I like the quests, story and zone, someone either dropped the ball at the end-of-the-line quests, or intentially designed a long grind to try to keep our attention in Endwaith longer. I'm guessing the latter but wish something would be better designed here, like it was done in Mirkwood.

At least one of the small group dailies, "The Clutch Collapses", can be done solo in about 3 minutes without having to fight anything. You just have to be careful to pick the right eggs to smash and the right path between them to avoid pulling agro. It has been one pf my regular dailies since beta.

If you do get a group to do the other three group dailies, it opens up another bunch of additional group dailies, and again, one of them, taking rubbings of some runes, can also be done solo with care.

Thank you. I actually did 3 of the 4 "small fellow" as solo and while a pain, are definitely an option. I did notice several others open up but unfortunately none of them give reputation

Now that the forums appear to be a bit more responsive and server issues seem to be corrected, is there anyone else with input? Speaking to a kinmate last night he mentioned that he has 4 Grey Company/5 Algraig repeatable quests because he took the Algraig alternate to Feeding the Company.

You will also be happy to know that all slayer deeds in Enedwaith, both tiers, give out Grey Company rep.

As for Algraig reputation, I'm going to wait for Turbine to give us more quests to get rep for them, or at least some sort of barter item to give them. Sheesh, Turbine, throw us a bone xD

I actually did a bunch of the slayer deeds...first time I used the deed accelerator tome (love it). Although I only completed the first tier on them last night. Grey Company rep isn't an issue since I'm about halfway through Ally already. Algraig on the other hand...just seems so few quests give that rep. I've run around Enedwaith a few times to see if I missed anything and I can't seem to find anything else.

I certainly agree with you though. I do hope they add some more repeatable Algraig rep quests. In recent updates it seems that the reputation tracts were made to be easier to obtain but this is by far the biggest grind due to the lack of quests to run.

Ah, so some of the quests ARE mutually exclusive to each other...I was wondering about that when a kinnie was asked to kill one of the Druggvar in Gloomglens, but I didn't get it. The only difference seemed to be that I ported to go turn in a couple other quests and reforge while she grabbed the quest.

Does anyone have a list of vectors where the quest alternatives change? It appears that the Supplies for the Company quest is a big one. I may have to forgoe that one on my alts.

I have only 1 repeatable Algraig rep quest that I can find. Killing Wargs and Half-orcs from Lhanuch. None of the others are available to me. 35 days doing 3 repeatables sounds good to me!! Just think of doing 500 points at a time every 6 hours! It's gonna take me 6 months to hit kindred and get that sweet shield!

Yeah, this is my beef, too. It's a bit of a grindfest to get to kindred, so these dailies that give no rep have gone on the back burner. Really not much incentive, from my view, to do them without rep.

I really don't have much to add except that I am in the same boat as the OP. I didn't know that Algraig would be so hard to grind. But oh well, what's done is done. And on the bright side, I will get Grey company faster so that means I will have one less rep to grind. They *have* to throw in more quests or barter items... right? Right?

Edwin123, there are another two Algraig quests (one to kill evil goats or wolves and the other to kill those undead spirits... sorry, not in the game to check names). If you do the Grey Company repeatable to deliver peace offerings of flowers and stuff (from the same place you do the Ox meat hand-in), it will lead you right to the quest givers.

I am not in game ATM or I'd give you exact coordinates. Maybe someone else will be able to chime in and provide them.

This was all obviously intentional. If everyone was able to get kindred in a week with both factions what is there to keep people busy? There likely isn't going to be a new content update until December and that is if we are lucky since it is in the middle of the annual dev 3 month hibernation.

Working on Algraig rep is the equivalent of a substitute teacher handing out busy work to keep students occupied .

There are 4 repeatable Algraig rep quests that I've found.

1. Lhanuch - kill Wargs and Half-Orcs (500rep)
2. Windfells camp - kill Druggavar or Wolves (700rep)
3. Windfells camp - kill Spirits (Cuthraul) (700rep)
4. Nan Laeglin camp (just over the bridge from Lhanuch) - Defending the Herd, Kill Wolves or Cun Annun (700rep)

Takes about 15mins to run through. The first one can take awhile to find all the mobs you need (requires 8 half-orcs and 8 wargs), but the rest are super-duper easy and quick (3 mobs).

I guess they feel that giving us 30+ days of grinding the same 3-4 repeatable quests AFTER completing the quests in the new zone is fun. Quite frankly I shelved my champ and have been running my hunter through Enedwaith (this time going with 'Protecting the Herd'). I got bored with doing that same rep grind daily so I stopped since his progress was painfully slow.

There is someone in my kin who is close too. I am no where near close (I am still halfway though friend I think). My problem is when I log in, I get "drafted" to Helegrod or other raids (I like going, but it's usually right when I log in and lasts my whole play time). Think it took me a week to step foot in Endwaith. I just finished all the non-repeatable quests a few days ago and sometimes I don't have enough time to do the repeatable ones (I include Grey company in this as I am halfway though Ally with them and not Kindred).

I was thinking, you know what might be fun? An extra rare "drop" that you can hand in for rep. It might only drop off the mobs in Endwaith and would be bound. Kind of like those quests where an item drops off a mob and you turn it in for a quest... only repeatable. Personally, I love "hunting" like that. I used to never get tired of shard hunting back in the day. This would be the same basic concept. Or maybe a crafted rep item to hand in (and have the item on a longish cool down).

To the OP, you're stuck with 4 Algraig repeatables, as everyone else has mentioned.

I don't see them rapidly adding additional quests for Algraig rep. Many people have finished the grind as-is.

Finally got my Algraig Horse today.

That is one fine-looking horse.

Personally I think it's ugly and won't bother.

I just got kindred with the Algraig before the grey company and i took the path of helping the Algraig over the grey company. still have about 3-4 days of questing for kindred with grey company in less i do the deeds.

2 and 3 gave me 1200 Rep each day not 700

Those values were accurate at post time. Turbine changed the game.

Would love to see rep gains for the fellowship dailies at Nars Peak....would certainly reduce the amount of grind delay.
