I'm curious who we have here who will lead raids or groups rolling here?
I know personally I'll be leading either smallgroups or raids depending on if this server becomes smallgroup oriented or raid oriented. Although since I'm mainly freep it'll be Interesting to learn how to run the other side
I will be leading, to start out with small groups, then maby as I do it more often I will move to raids. Still trying to make that ever challenging decision to play creep or freep on this new server =/ (leaning more twords leading creep side and following freep)
Anyway my main creep will be Obama (WL), and my main freep will be Clay (Mini). Look forward to seeing ya in game
I can lead mixed raids well enough, but my specialty is warg packs. Hopefully people from Bwine will testify, but I don't lead the ***** warg packs you see most the time nowadays. I don't like to gank rez circles, I don't camp GV, I don't only zerg solos and small groups, I try to engage with freep raids (within reason) as much as possible. To that end, I typically coordinate with other creep raids in bringing the freeps down. A well run warg pack is extremely deadly, when we are allowed to use our strengths, and avoid our weaknesses.
I've also played with the idea of running spider raids.
In addition to the Like A Boss groups I will occasionally lead small groups consisting of 3-6 members whose sole objective will be terminating the existence of a certain "oystermouth".

I will let the situation dictate. But most will be small groups/Solo for myself. Classes make a difference imo. On my LRM leading a raid is simple because I know I will stun/root/mez my target and others need to blow it up. On a guard I won't have that luxery. I don't see the point of me leading If I am not calling targets. As a guard I doubt I will always be on the easiest target. May be more of a leader of small groups and just a follower in the raids if I join.

Raids =/= Zergs. In fact, raids typically are the solution to zergs.
If both sides have ORGANIZED raids, its some really, really fun fighting. If both sides are just mindless mobs of players running around with no direction, its a zerg, and there's little fun to be had.

I solo a fair bit these days (when I play that is), it has its merit but I agree it's just asking to get zerged by bigger groups, and there's always a bigger group.
In your case, yes, it's essentially a zerg. When its raid on raid, I consider it to be another thing entirely. However, there seems to be a large amount of players interested in small grouping and soloing, and raiding will most certainly have its place too, hopefully we can accomodate as many playstyles as possible.

My promise to freeps and creeps is that I will not run from an even fight (and by even I refer to freep/creep kill ratio) numbers in each group are not the determining factor. I couldn't care less about rating and as long as the kill ratio isn't 10-1 in favour of the freeps I will stand and fight. My wish/hope is that the freeps will do the same.

Why don't you try learning to small group and solo. It's a lot more fun than mindless, "ALL TWENTY OF US PUT A DOT ON THAT GUY!" raiding.

While I myself prefer small group and solo play, and obviously you do, that doesn't mean everyone does, and a raid is not necessarily a zerg. A zerg is a much larger group killing a much smaller group, what you quoted him talking about was RvR.. relatively equal fight, and therefore requiring some level of skill, and not a zerg. A good Moors will be balanced between RvR, small groups and solo play, a Moors lacking in any one of the three is not as good as it could be.

I've lead many battles on nimrodel, on my creep Spiderwoman, as well as on my mini Mariegold and will gladly run raids again on this server, if needed
I'll help out leading if needed, or call targets on freepside for Zelda.. Used to lead alot on Nimrodel freepside on Mimikins back in the day and still do if i get in the mood. =)

Im with you 100% there lets not turn this into another server like elendilmir where when you find a small group or solo fight you treat it like a race to kill the opposition before the zerg arrives rather than a good fight.

You're such a liar. You totally roflstomped me in my 1v18 six months, twelve days ago!
On a side note, it is *sometimes* hard to know when to raid and when not to. You don't always know if the twenty-four folks in one area are just following each other like sheep, or are actually raided. Sometimes this will lead to a raid, and then they get wiped pretty badly, and the side that raided will get called out. (Just noting another side to the story!)

What people tend to get frustrated about is when people break the "unspoken" rules we all assume our opponents should know. Unless we are in vent together there is no way to know when to form a raid, when to help the other side by contributing, or even when to call it a night. Expect to get zerged and expect to zerg. All we can do is play it by ear and adapt as the night goes along. The "You guys should have done this!" stuff is always going to happen. It's not entirely any ones fault. Numbers fluctuate all the time and no one will know the circumstances when logging right into a pvp zone.
To the people that do zerg just to zerg... and think mindless spamming of 2 skills is fun... shame on you. That is boring.
Whatever good PvP you guys are trying to establish, I'm here to ruin it.

As for OP. I will playing the roll of Corpse Jumper as I do on my home server. I will follow the raid/groups around doing practically nothing, then at the very moment something dies and I have nothing to do with it Iwill embark on a legendary session of corpse jumping.
My true concern here is it looks to have too many Chiefs and not enough Indians......So I will take the roll of the follower/subordinate/pos/no glory having/ pipsqueek/failure as for I am married and have been doing it for years.
