Thread: Compendium of Landroval Welcome Events

In short, the subject line says it all.

Please note: The list will be updated at least once a day as folks post about their events.

Please help me make a Compendium of Landroval Welcome Events planned by posting your events in a reply here. Since we can’t filter the main LOTRO calendar by Server, this will hopefully help all of us know what’s going on when.

When submitting an event for the Compendium, please include the following:

1. Name of event
2. Date and Time in servertime (EST)—sticking to one time zone will lessen confusion.
3. Place of event, also place for escort to said location if planned
4. Brief description of event
5. Link to whatever main source may contain info on the event that can have all sorts of info you couldn’t fit into the brief description.
6. If the event is to take place in the Introduction part of the game, please denote such with an {I} after the name. (Introduction is pre-fire Archet or pre-revival of Skogrim in Ered Luin.)

In a perfect world, the overall info would take up one line on the forum as seen by someone with 1024 x 768 as their resolution setting. Not always possible, but that’s the goal. Descriptions will always be in italics to try to make it easier to scroll through. (I could play with font colors, but that could also be a disaster.)

I’m not sure if it falls within the purvey of the Lorebook, but I plan to make a mirror of the Compendium there so folks can refer to it in as well. (Anyone who is a Lorebook whiz, please let me know since I’ve only ever set up kin pages there. I would love to know how to categorize it and/or make it easy for folks to find.)

It is a little barren at the moment, and not that this makes any difference, but I'm here! Oh wait... and so are you. See, now it's starting to fill up!

Apropos of nothing in this thread, do you play a priest named Roberth in WoW too? That name rings a bell, and there's some LO folks around here from time to time if you're who I think you are and will have any clue what I'm talking about.

I am who you think I am and yes I have heard some Leftovers can be found on this server. I'm with the Sons of Numenor (great kin!) and slowly exploring the land of Middle Earth. Feel free to friend me!
