I have been having a tough time finding a mature friendly guild they claim to be mature boy are they ever wrong. Anyways are you a demanding guild? I cannot do raid after raid im mostly into crafting, sure I will do raids but id rather do it on my terms, I work, I have a son and I play this game for fun and to release stress not to work hehe

So if it is laid back in the sense and more about having fun then please let me know thank you.

Thanks for your interest in Remnant, Angelbound. First, a note about maturity. While age doesn't necessarily mean mature (as I'm sure my wife would tell you!), our average age is probably mid 30's. While we have several members in their 20's, many of us are in our 40's, 50,s and 60's.

No, we're not demanding. Furthest thing from it, actually. We do raid regularly but members are not required to participate in ANY event. The events are here for our members' enjoyment, not the other way around.

Sure, many of us like to run the end-game raids and instances but it's as much for the socializing and challenge as it is for the gear. We also have members who never raid and just enjoy being part of a great group of people to spend time with. Whatever your interest in the game, we do what we can to foster it.

Like you, we have families, friends, jobs and a whole host of other real life commitments. We do ask our members to do what they can to make their kinship a great place to spend time but we're pretty flexible on what that means!

I'm very fortunate to have met Silinar and am honored to be in Remnant. It's been only 1 month since I've joined this kin and it's far exceeded my expectations. It's a friendly, casual, mature, helpful, knowledgeable, organized kin.

It's a pleasure hanging with this great group of guys and gals. The variety of classes and levels is comforting. The kin events are fun fun!

Yeah yeah, you've probably heard all that before, but this is what stands out for me:

• Everyone chips in and keeps things fresh and lively.
• The impressive kin site keeps us all VERY informed and in touch.
• TeamSpeak3 is new tech and is used quite a bit. Everyone sounds super clear and it's never lonely since there's usually someone on. No pressure to even talk... you can just hang.

• Posts on the Remnant forums are active. Post your char bio, tell the kin about yourself, or just post some RP.

Hey guys. I recently came back from a hiatus that I logged in once every 2-3 weeks, but I plan on playing regularly again. I recently tried FFXIV, but it needs A LOT of work. I've played LotRO since late May 2007. I've been in the same kinship since 11/07/2007, but its all but dead since I came back. I'm looking for that mature kinship thats easy to joke and play (but no drama ^_^). I have:

Looking for some variety? In the last ten days, we've scheduled and run Annuminas, Helegrod, the Great Barrow, Carn Dum, a fishing derby, a "Flying the Coop" chicken run and a town hall meeting. Remnant has been joined by some great players in the last week. Ringgold signed up and brought in his wife, Prairiegirl. Aethwin and Balkhar join us from the Great White North. Pennryt became a Remnant for the socializing, shenanigans and a little debauchery! Lysthia and Toargo are another great couple who've signed on (we seem to be attracting a lot of those!). Forgund came to us after F2P brought him back to the game. And finally, we gained Chromian, who joined us after fellowing with a few of our members.

We're happy all these fine folks decided to become part of the Remnant kinship! We're always looking for more great folks who want to be part of truly friendly and supportive kinship. If that's you, apply on our website today.

I have been part of this Kinship for almost a month now and I can attest - the people are VERY nice, virtually always a couple players on, fun chat on TeamSpeak.

All in a very mature/friendly context which I greatly appreciate. I love Remnant.

I've been part of this kin for over a month now? Helpful bunch, and not being on-your-face to attend events or do this or that. Our runs are great, we have awesome leaders that know (or knows where to learn) the insides and outs of most instances.
Besides, we have some awesome 80s singing from time to time going on TS, and some of the sexiest accents you'll ever hear.

I have to say, one of the best (if not the best) kin/guild I've ever had in any mmo, hands down.

is there anyway to to become a friend of remnant and raid with you guys and remain in my current kinship ... which i love the peopl e in it but they just dont have the numbers or inclination to raid heavily

Yes, we do raids and other instances with other kinships. This is a great way to do those 12 man or 24 man whereas it might be too difficult to get that many people at once.
I'll see if I can get someone to contact you to set this up.

We don't currently have anything set up for this on an individual basis. We do run joint events with other kinships from time to time. We'll be discussing this in January at our regular officer and town hall meetings and may implement this after that.

Agreed. Lots of people to hang around with, all of which are very fun to talk to. TeamSpeak adds a whole new dimension to the game, with couples picking on each other, sexy accents from all over the world, or simply having fun during raids and instances.

I've found in Remnant a place to call home.

Just joined today and was able to jump right in to some of the kin groups that where running and had a lot of fun. Everyone is very nice and I didn't feel like an outsider upon joining, this kin is definitely doing something right and I'm happy to be a small part of it!

I also joined same time at Stanimir, and all I can say is amazing group of guys. I instantly felt like I was home and was thrown right in a DN raid. Having only ever run the watcher thrice in pug groups being my entire raiding esperiance, its was downright amazing. Im looking forward to a long friendship with these guys.

Lots of action on our February schedule!

Also, Remnant welcomes Cheruschi, Renyar, Rhubwyn, Wraath, Stanimir, Baskloin, Ljysalfar, Ahsoke and Islude, who all joined us recently.

Bump. Been having a blast in the watcher and other raids and have also been enjoying the humorous yet focused approach to the raids. I'm very glad I chose this as my kinship, give them a look!

REMNANT ALLY PROGRAM

From time to time, we get asked if non-members can raid with us. Many kinships allow this, so we've decided to allow a limited number of players looking for more end game content to come along.

So, if you are happy with your kinship but would like to join us for some end game raiding, there are a few things you'll need to do.

1. First, create an account on our website so that we can give you access to the calendar.
2. Next, post a message in our Introduction forum. Let us know which characters you'd like to bring, how much radiance they have (until the patch removed it), and a little about your gear and virtue levels. We're not snooty but need to ensure you'll survive!
3. Add any of the characters you'll be raiding with to the site, using the Create a Character link in our sidebar.

Once the "paperwork' is taken care of, you'll be able to sign up for the calendar events and receive DKP along with the rest of the raiders.

We're looking for some more members, both for raids and TS comedy hour, check remnant out!

We actually have players and events at all hours (all US time zones, singapore, Russia, UK and the Czech Republic to name a few). We recently have run several early afternoon (US Time) raids on the weekends to incorporate some of our European and non-American players.

So basically, we have players on at most times, and we try to make events that accommodate everyone (although some of our raids are PM US times).

It's like a 3-ring circus here. Just yesterday we had:

A captain lead his group to DPS burn down the new Sambrog.
A lore-master solo the NCF spider boss.
Multiple 3-man instance runs, daily quest runs, and new SM Crafters

and we topped it off with a nice 2.5 hour clear of The Rift (die, balrog, die), including at least one of our official individual Allies. Doing old content can be as fun as doing the new stuff.

Some awesome moors, NCF, Stonheight, DN, OD, GB and vile maw/filikul kinship groups have been going on this past week! BG has been scheduled for the next few weeks and multiple raids are scheduled a week.

If you're in to end game content, but perhaps need a breather from raiding pressure, give us a look! We get things done and have a good time, too.

Heres a prime example of why I like this kin. A certain someone "accidently" pulled a whole horde of gredbyg on our group in OD with an errant arrow, but we laughed afterwords. That is what I like about Remnant so much.

If the doors are still open and you are welcomeing new members , this looks like the kind of Kinship i am looking for . I am 40 yo married and with a 15 yo son . I play alot ( too much if you ask my wife ) and want a mature Kinship to enjoy and relax and learn the game with . I play mainly between 4pm - 8pm central time during the week and as much as i can on the weekends .
