I think we've all been there at one time or another. We sometimes get carried away with our emotions to a point of wanting to view the innards of our comp monitor by putting a fist through it.
The "I'm f'in done! I'm going to the store for some Skittles" manuever that temporarily eases your frustration but eventually causes you to log back in after you destroy that tasty bag of Skittlez.
I'm sure some of you have a funny, sad, LMAOZOMG, story that you can share with us about that time you freakin' lost it and swore you would NOT come back for a month only to log back in after a couple of hours..
Here's mine...
A few months ago I entered the Moors on Windybear. There was a freep raid already in progress so I decided to join it. I will keep the raid leader's name out of it to avoid drama.
For some reason, the creeps REALLY had it out for me. Someone must have slapped a "Zomg, Creeps plz zerg me!" message on my back because I probably died about 7-8 times in a 20-30 minute period, which is a lot for me. The raid leader wasn't one of the most experienced Moors leaders so I tried giving little hints of what tactics we could do next just because I was at a point of reaching through my headset and choking the living s*it out of him.
He totally ignored my advice and proceded to attempt a TA keep flip while the rest of the map was completely blood red. Needless to say, it failed miserably and in the process I was killed 2-3 MORE times in TA after taking rezzes...
So after 10+ deaths in about an hour, I flipped out, cursed something in voice raid, dropped the raid, unplugged the power strip from the wall, shutting everything down instantly, (I didn't even want to wait to power down the comp) and went out for a Double Quarter Pounder meal at Mickey D's to try and relax. I actually sat in a booth and thought about the noob who ran that raid.
/RAGELOG
I returned home right after eating and plugged the power back on, fired up Lotro, entered the Moors again, announced that I was opening up a raid, stole that noob's raid members and proceeded to do things my way. Was it wrong? Maybe. Maybe not. But I needed to do SOMETHING to make myself feel better.
Now please understand, that is not normal for me to behave in that fashion. It was a moment in time that I completely lost it. It has not happened since and I realize it was kinda stupid but what can I say?
I can honestly say I have never ./ragelogged.......does it count if I ./ragedropgroup or ./ragelogontoanothertoon? Then I'm guilty as charged. And this doesn't just pertain to the moors.
I was in a GS group, all will remain nameless because I don't remember any of them. I was one of 3 Minstrels, 1 of the 2 in WS. We also had a Hunter, Guard and LM. The LM asked for power pots before we went in, not a good sign. We couldn't make it past the first mini-boss, you know "Feed me your fear!!!!!' guy, because no one save myself could grasp the concept of using a fear pot at the correct time. The Hunter was tanking because in his words "I'm such an awesome Hunter!!!" and the Guard wasn't traited for tanking O.o Needless to say I had "something come up" and dropped as fast as I could, gotta love PuGs.......We are all only human
Now appearing daily with 2 shows on weekends in GW2
I usually only rage at people, doesn't matter who. I'll go off on them or seek revenge on them in the moors, and if I get the revenge or state my opinion, I'm done.

*bats eyes innnocently* WASN'T ME! I SWEAR! I'M INNOCENT I TELL YA!
I've rage logged after lagging out and coming back dead. (lagging out = seeing everything going on, able to chat, but unable to move at all.)

Your turn....
Not ./rageriplog like that, but for some of the rest of the story, yeah, been there, done that, and flipped the map to the opposite color more than once, while the previous "leader" watched in wonder, often later asking to join the raid only to find out that it was full and he'd now have to "take a number" to get in...
I have swapped from creep to freep just to trip a creep (whoever i'm hating on) on my burg while Fors and Zer Burn Hot Heartseeker it It's impossible to be angry after that, because I can't stop laughing.
I'm pretty sure in SoA it wasn't ragelog, it was ragetroll/rageranger. And I think it was usually more therapeutic. Course it usually led to others rage session play rolling or logging, but I digress...

I miss the ragetroll/rageranger and how much that pissed people off.
