Thread: soloing SH HM

I know that its probably possible for y'all to solo SH EM. but i heard a rumor on arkenstone today that someone (an RK), on landy, had soloed SH HM. I assume its not true, but i was wondering if anyone can think of a way to do so or if anyone has done it. I dont have an RK so i wouldnt really know. thanks!

I've soloed SH easymode, and from the bosses I'd say it's not possible. You can't kite the troll, and I personally wasn't able to kite the bat, and going heal mode for those two fights is >10-13 minutes.

Agreed, I've done EM as well. And I can't see it happening. You can't kite all three simultaneously, and trying to turtle would take too long.

well you couldnt turtle even if u wanted to, its too much dmg, and you cant stand still when the fire comes.

I dont thnk any class can solo HM. soloing EM isnt too difficult tho

what do you guys do to solo EM? would love to give it a try for the runes/relics, any tips would be great!

I don't recommend it more than once beyond the fire guy if you're looking for runes/relics. It takes way too long. When I did it it took me something like 2 hours on the bat lady alone... Mostly due to heal interrupts missing/resisting.

Either way, what I did was

1. Kite Fire Guy, DPS only during inductions.

2. Turtle up on Merrevail, kite bats, only use interrupt for heal inductions.

3. Turtle up on Troll in the blood puddle.

Don't use All Fates Entwined unless you absolutely have to, it will drain your power and end up killing you.

EDIT: I'm much better geared now than I was then, I kite the fire guy much less than I used to. But when figuring it out I'd definitely say kite all the way.

For the Troll, I stood in a rubble pile against a wall, it let me get an extra FR or CR off while he was running in from his center stomps.

Farming the Fire Priest is about the best option though. It's actually easier when he lays down a bunch of the fire. Gives you lots of time to dps, and DNF fire.

Yeah I figured... the guy was either stupid or a troll... anyway though for soloing the morroval lay down a rock and the bats shouldnt need kiting so you can dps there too. basically, I just wanted to make sure there wasnt some RK skill or combination of skills that made it possible... for example if a combination of lighting skills and ice skills could keep the fire boss mezzed and the troll slowed while you killed the morroval (or something) unless there is there is no possible way. When I do it I like to attack when a corruption is up, hit my 10s delay corruption removal 10s before i will kite, and kite when the corruption gets removed, until there is a new one up. dont know if that helps a RK though.
