If there is one thing that I've noticed in beta - a number of adjustments have been made specifically based upon player feedback. It is most welcome.
There are a few more coming prior to launch. Many of the prices in the store are being adjusted further based on feedback, we are putting up a new Beta build of the game tomorrow to address some additional issues beta testers have reported, and we are still reviewing item and price feedback before settling on the launch configurations in the LOTRO Store.
In addition, we've already started to highlight some of the best player suggestions from Beta to include in our next full (non -patch or hotfix) update and in future Book updates.
So you could say we've got a lot going on here in the coming weeks and months.

Hopefully you removed the store Pots, too. Those are 100x worse than Reputation Mounts.

Thank you for this. This restores some of my faith in Turbine. The reputation mounts were a guaranteed money-maker - and you took them out of the shop anyway. I'm genuinely impressed - I didn't think you'd do it.
Thank you for (quite undeniably) listening. Well done ... well done indeed!
Thanks Sapience, for popping in here to answer questions.
A note for everyone. The list is currently a few beta builds out of date at this point. I've been busy of late but I'll try to get in there and get it updated shortly after the next build goes up. Again, as Sapience said, even after that update it will still not be final, and I'm getting the feeling that nobody, beta tester or not, will get a look at the final launch prices and selection until the 8th.

Much rejoicing for the mount removal I am sure. Good job Turbine!
As for tomes going up in price, um, let's have less of a clamor for them on the forums, shall we? I'm not going to buy them. Nope, no sir...

They remain. They have had their cooldown doubled to 20 seconds.
It's silly to remove something that was ultimately cosmetic and keep something that actually harms the game. And doubling the cooldown doesn't fix the issue in any way.

I know I am late to this discussion but I want to re-iterate how thankful I am that Turbine made a decision like this. As mentioned before, these were definite money makers and were removed based on player feedback. A very standup gesture by Turbine and a decision that has already positively resonated with many long time players. Thanks for listening and thanks for making LOTRO the best MMO on the market.

I'm glad, that was my only issue from what I've seen.
I do have a few questions tho, and that's for anyone to answer:
1. How many times can you use a +30 stat tome?
2. If you're only limited to 1 tome use, can you use a +30 stat of each tome on the same character?
3. Will all the deeds we already did reward us the TP they were designed to with this new system, or is that TP lost? As I did every deeds besides a few in Misty Mountain and I believe 2 zones in MoM, this would affect me quite a bit. Even tho I'm starting with a minimum of 4500 TP.

IIRC, only once. You are supposed to use the stat tomes in succession, i.e. +10 Tome, then +20 Tome, then +30 Tome.
2. If you're only limited to 1 tome use, can you use a +30 stat of each tome on the same character?
see above, AFAIK you must use them in succession.
3. Will all the deeds we already did reward us the TP they were designed to with this new system, or is that TP lost?
This has been know for a while now that there will be no retroactive TP. The only case where this is not true is Faction Rep tiers are being made into TP Deeds so any of those will be like a new Deed and will alloacate TP when you first log in on the 8th/10th if you've already completed them. Faction Rep tiers also will no longer award XP like they did in the past.
As I did every deeds besides a few in Misty Mountain and I believe 2 zones in MoM, this would affect me quite a bit. Even tho I'm starting with a minimum of 4500 TP.
It will affect pretty much all of the current and past playerbase.

Well I guess those that for some reason think having one of these has any bragging rights (it doesn't) about are happy, personally I got mine for the satisfaction of 'working' at getting them, but couldn't care less how others get them.
Given all that's wrong with the game in general and F2P in particular, all the whining about rep. mounts in the Store was kind of amusing.

I have to jump in here (and make my very first posting in this forum ).
From a marketing point of view this is IMO not a good move. Why not keep the rep mounts in the store and make them usable only, when you have maxed out your standing with the respective rep faction? In some cases people may also buy quest packs for a certain area to grind rep and to be able to buy the rep horse. To take out the rep mounts is maybe the easiest solution, but in my opinion it is only second best.
Ah thanks, so that means 885 TP per stat, and can be used for each stat.
Don't depend on the price lists in beta to be the same on Live. Where it used to be 195/295/395 or 885 for +30, now it currently is 395/450/495 or 1340 now. Things could still change between now and go live as well.
It's good that you addressed player's concern over rep mounts but really you could have left them in the store as long as you maintained the "Rep Requirement" for them. That way a player would still have to earn the rep but would have a choice to pay for the horse with gold or points.

Or just make a few new horses, or a new contest, for the store. Although I suppose at some point the horses will start looking the same.
Still, withdrawing the existing rep horses from the store is a nice surprise, and was the right thing to do. I'm re-inspired to do the in-game work to earn a nice horse for my alt now.

Better be careful there Sapience. You're going to throw those people who think the devs don't listen to the players and do things only to spite them into a major tizzy. They won't be able to handle their conspiracy theories and "Turbine hates us and never listens to the players" ideas being shown to, once again, not be true.

Why not keep the rep mounts in the store and make them usable only, when you have maxed out your standing with the respective rep faction?
The one problem I see with this is that players might see the mount and blindly spend their TP without even reading the description that it requires the rep. Then they would come screaming on the forums that they spend $15 on a horse and cannot use it even though it was clearly their fault for not reading the description.
I disliked the mounts in the store since the rep mounts require a decent amount of work to obtain and they can take more hits before a dismount which is a nice reward for all the grinding. I'm glad to see this change. As for the HoT Pots...I could care less. If someone wants to throw away that much cash for just a few consumable pots, so be it. It's not going to make them a better Raider. Experience and skill make a good player, not the consumable items they use.

I would have preferred Turbine making some money off some lazy guy with too much money that would probably end up bored and leave in a couple of weeks/months anyway. Just put the mounts back and bump up the price some more. Can I end up with negative rep? lol

Why not make there cd's the same as a regular potion but on a different timer?
I watched a video of someone solo Sword hall with these potions they are far to effective. I understand the incentive to buy them because they are so powerful which in the end makes you money as it is a disposable item. But the item is just too powerful as it is. The potions will literally unbalance moors content.
Are there any plans to make them unusable in the moors at least?
