I was wondering if there are repeatable quests for adamant shards. The levels before it had a bounty quest where you could get 3. So far I have not found one for the adamant shards.
Don't think there is one. If you're really hurting for one, and would rather not go to the AH, there's 3 "fairly easy" mobs in Northdowns if you're high enough. A Named warg by the road to Dol Dinen (East of Esteldin), a Named kin that roams around their "town", and a flying drake where you can find spiders and auroch spawns (NNE of Esteldin) - tho he can be fairly hard if you're not really high.
You can go to Garth Agarwen in Lone Lands. The 3rd instance Arboretum have a Bog-lurker at 11k, Rotheart, if you are high enough level, you can go inside and just kill that bog-lurker over and over until you have plenty of shards. He is right inside the instance, and patrols close to the entrance and you can run out, join other fellowship (with help of a friend) or go inside Red Maid instance to reset Arboretum instance, then run back in.
Dunlang and Rotheart are awesome to kill over and over, take a friend with you who is about 32 and get dunlangs armour. Dunglang is also a token quest but only get quest once per day.

Probably need to be around lvl 40 at least imo.
Never been inside GA since the revamp; is Rotheart a static spawn now? He used to be a hit and miss.

He is the 'first' boss of that instance so yes you will ALWAYS get him everytime you enter the instance.
Dunlang, Rauztork (Dread-water) in Red Maid instance always drop adamant but there are several trash mobs in the way. Likewise for Burzrog (spelling? Wight lord) inside Ivar crypt which is also first boss.
Rotheart is easiest to farm because if you wait a bit, he will come close to the entrance, just be careful of pulls as he often brings two elite bog-lurkers with him.
