Thread: Good 1v1s

I am going to man up and apoligize to everyone on this thread and those that read them. This is supposed to be a fun thread on 1-1. I did the one thing and I vowed never to do on the forums and that is troll and call people names. Kolton and Derlan if you have prob with me send my main a mail and we can work something out. I am here to have fun not upset ppl on the server. The moors is the moors, and sometimes people's emotions/ego get the best of them.

Ronaldreagan and Killafornia, thanks for pouncing and interrupting 1v1s I was having with other people with me at half health but being so poorly played that you both still died. Appreciate the points!

Thanks for the 2v2 Bloodloaf and Fearthereaver. I didn't expect the NPCs to respawn so fast . Had just met a new transfer to our server so as much as I wanted to just kind of let you guys go, I really wanted to show him that we have Creeps willing to fight late at night. I won't lie, I was also about 70 Comms away from my next piece of armor so I was chomping at the bit for that too.

I look forward to a rematch when you have Audacity (How did you not have any, can you unslot it? lol) and we're far clear of NPCs.

Yeah was good fight. Wish I could figure out a way to bubble myself lol. As strange as this might sound since I don't really PvP with my LM, I decided to spend all my comms on his PvP gear. So as I earn them just by doing what I always do, I can get freep gear. Saves me the hassle of grinding whatever SG equivilant instance there is at the moment, for some gear. With that said, I got the full set already, and just now hit rank 2 audacity with the WL. Few weeks ill be up there....

In refrence to me previous post it was not a troll attempt on Killa. It was meant for every warg that is playing on Arkenstone atm except maybe 3.

I have been looking for some 1v1s recently but cant seem to find anyone that will fight a burglar? is there a reason for that, because i myself dont think im tough to beat im pretty easy and dont use store pots, so if you are willing to fight me just send me in game mail or something

I tip my hat to Belegnost - longst fight I've had in a long, long time. Thank you for staying around and finishing the fight man, the wargie bubble regen certainly came in handy Honestly though, I'd gladly pay for more fights like that, where I have to use 4 or 5 health pots, and power pots and it lasts long enough to see DR completely kick in. Good stuff.

Also, thank you other freepies namely Aryante, Cord, and Pelagor I do believe for staying and letting us finish (I know some creepies came by too, but I neglect your names). I tip my hat to you vets, thank you for observing, although I'll admit I almost immediately turned to give up mode when I say you few standing there (till I saw your names and figured I'd be safe!) thank you for proving me right.

Little specs of pleasure like that are the evil that prompts me to keep coming back, curses!

First, I want to apologize to yummy and the freep he was 1v1ing on ta lawn. I didn't realize it was a 1v1 even though yum had put something in ooc mentioning it was a 1v1 fight. the ooc blurb had scrolled off my screen so I didn't see it. anyway, my bad, sorry for interfering. it does explain the burg ganking I got afterward lolol

to the champ I fought behind tr (thoramax or something like that)... not even sure you read the forums. I think you're new to the moors (at least new on that class) because you ran after me and didn't run away. After you get all the gear and other pve junk you need, and your toon is maxed out, I will be crying.

It's all good, EG. I know it was a silly place to have a 1v1, but I can't help myself... I love a good fight, and Yummy is as tough as they come. I knew you didn't realize it was a 1v1 since you prolly saw a couple other freeps out there too whacking on something (they were pulling an pathing npc off of me that had jumped in during the fight).

Oh yeah, and it looked like that Thor guy put up a pretty good fight with you behind TR. I'm not sure he's on the forums at all, but I'll let him know you passed some kind words his way if I see him.

I'll throw my apologies into the mix on this one too. I came up to TA lawn and saw Axetoe & Dirtdiver, and a few creeps that looked like they were mixing it up. Hobbit burger is my favorite flavor of meat (tastes like bacon), so I jumped in and helped take Axe down, then DD. It wasn't until Yummy commented after that fight that I saw it was an interrupted 1v1. I always try to respect those, and to avoid the warg pack mentality. So, apologies for interrupting.

Oh, and BTW, I was there watching Biggie's fight with Belegnost near crude Grim...and it was indeed an epic fight. Cudos to everyone who let that play out and didn't gank the winner.

Gassy, as I already stated I forgive you, and now you know that Dirt does too! We had a sporadic bout of 1v1 hopping at Stab and tried to sneak it in before the masses descended but alas. Dirt, feel free to send me a tell if you would like a more private rematch. I tried my best to back off and allow both sides to disengage but wound up being eaten in the process =P

Lastly, I concur with Gassy it was quite enjoyable to have the freeps pushing on TA last night, even when they outnumbered it was some pretty solid action and I found myself laughing throughout the skirmishes. Poor Axetoe, I wasn't gunning for you but I kept chancing upon you at low health and my finger kept twitching on the revenge button.

Its all good Yummy. After all low health targets are.....well....Yummy! See you out there.

Axe, I was told you had me targeted in TA. I'm sure it was so you could "share the fun," but I don't think you can stealth the creeps. I do appreciate you trying though.

Thanks for 1v1's by WTAB, Balin. I've been wanting to Shadow vs Flayer against a geared champ. Even branded for the Shadow fight to give myself a better chance. Flayer definitely made the difference in that second fight. Hope I gave ya some good points in that first one.

Thanks for the fight Morthil around STAB yesterday best 1 v 1 I have had in at least a week. I used everything I had including my 20 min Cd moors ring to remove 3 poisons. So very nice win.

Was a fun fight for sure. I kept expecting burgs or wargs to pop out of nowhere. It was uninterrupted thankfully. Well fought. Look forward to more fights in the future.

Haha yeah man firetraps are nasty versus melee, that was a fun lil fight, I thought that bleed was going to get me at the end.

Find a tree! The most common defence to a fire trap. lol

Who is your freeps? If you see me on send a tell im usually up for 1 v 1s, however im not entirely sure I qualify as a skilled Warg anymore I rarely play him.

Oh and how much you paying?

I saw him standing by watching. The fight was going good still when he jumped in. Not sure what was on his mind watching until halfway and then jump in. Ah well, think I could have had ya that one. I turned and stopped attacking and wanted you to blow up the warg, but I think you were low and wasn't sure of his rank etc...You deserved the points.

Anyway, was fun. Look forward to more. May we meet again 1v1...with no interference that is...

Ungolliar - great fight tonight by the wolves, kept waiting for a Craid or Fraid to ride up! 2nd time around I hoped I would do better, but alas.....no surprises this time either I appreciate the great 1v1's - I'll keep trying

I had a good one on one earlier with arachne (spelling sucks, Im sorry). She beat me. Oh well. I have also had good fights with ggrish. He is tough. As is ishotu. Ive had way too many good fights to call out. I will call this out. Morthil destroyed me hardcore. But that was with 4 audacity. Maybe I can change that around now. And I wouldnt mind running into cazper solo. I will not run but give you a good fight. Once again sorry about earlier

Heck yeah, Ggrishnak is a beast. I've had a few 1v1s with him... all of them challenging and equally enjoyable. My favorite one was when I came across him in HH, rode up so he could see me and then waited for him to finish the NPCs he was on so that we could have a clean fight. All of a sudden, a burg pops out of stealth and starts fighting Ggrish. So now he's got 2 npcs and a burg chasing him around. Long story longer, he ends up killing this burg and I'm just cracking up. This guy says something on OOC like, "Dude, get him Dirt!" and I'm like hey, you picked that fight man... I was waiting for npcs to die before engaging cuz I wanted a 1v1. What a hoss... /salute to you Ggrish.

Had a couple fun 1v1s last night. One against Morthil that ended pretty badly for me (I'll bring a better fight next time, I promise!) and one epic fight against Ukluz. That one must have lasted 4-5 mins or so. Great fight man, and thanks to Emt for not jumping in like he could have. Very classy.

Thanks to Iscariot for actually coming out and fighting a little bit last night in Steps. It was nice to get at least a little action in with the map being all blue and the lack of creep activity. And getting to 1v1 a warg more than once is an extremely rare occurrence these days.

Yeah was unexpected, but that was my goal to try and find some 1v1s that night. Creeps had outnumbered buff and I think the fight was at OC or something as usual. Anyway, good fight, you gave me 198 points I think with the outnumbered buff on. I guess we're even, you did a number on my dog in HH earlier that day I think it was. I tried though. Also I'll thank Rosbel even though you come over creep side to whine about everything. I like that fact you want to 1v1 out there. Nice try with the knockdown, warden heal, and man heal. Better luck next time.
