Well, thank you for the offer! I don't think we'll be needing any tips though, since I've known how to complete Lt. HM since we got the North American first on easy mode. Unfortunately, that was followed by the exodus of over half of the kinship because the content was too easy and yielded no rewards. After months of not raiding at all, we finally got back into gear, and then tried Lt. HM for the first time ever on Sunday. We nearly finished it within an hour or two, but unfortunately it got late and we had to call the raid. We'll knock it out this weekend so that Firefoot has two kins that can say they're doing Lt. HM, since it yields such great rewards and all.....

Unwelcome Mat FTW?

I think the fun of figuring out strategies, working as a team towards a goal, and the feeling of accomplishment when you meet it was a pretty good reward. But I guess different people play for different reasons.


Don't be mad Horosi. It's not a competition. For whatever reasons (none of my business, I'm not asking) you guys have decided that NOW it's worth doing and I'm happy. I wish you the best of luck. I want you to get it. I want more Firefoot kins on the list. I want to see Mithril Knights and Whatever Unforgiven Is Now and more up on the board. And we will keep helping those that have sent tells asking about the fight and our group.


But Unwelcome Mats for NONE! They're obnoxious.

If it was a competition, we would have won by now. But it wasn't, so we were relaxing and all obtaining the "Lucky Duck" title. Keep on keepin' on, Kristaa!

I did NOT beat the Lieutenant in HARD MODE but I did watch BAD Lieutenant in FULL SCREEN mode which is pretty dang close. And I bet if the BAD LT went in there the HM LT would be like, "yo dude, why you be all up in my crib killing my lackeys & up in my grill and shiznit??" And then the BAD LT would just be like "Just gimme the ring ya dam freak or else I'll take you downtown" And then the HM LT would be like "Pfft, scrawny humans!!" And then the BAD LT would reach in his pocket and shoot the HM LT with his rocket launcher & then the HM LT would be like 'Oh no he diiii int!!"


So ya, I just beat the HM LT in my mind so nyah, kristaa w/ the david bowie eyes, nyah i say!! Long live CoTa kin!!

I mean we all know our server has good enough players that a few kins could beat him HM, but nobody really wants to. Gratz on a job well done and here's to hoping something worth our time will be out sooner rather than later.

I seriously can't believe this sentiment that so many people have of "I don't want to do it because there arent good enough digital shinies to reward me". Why do you do anything, just so you can have the nicest looking gear with marginal improvements? I think there's something to be said for accomplishing something that's very challenging and requires coordinated teamwork. This whole attitude of "we could have done it if we tried but we didn't feel like it" is a bunch of immature horsesh|t.
