Thread: The Good 1v1 Thread

Not sure if Pan- Gentle ever checks the forums Mac.

Thanks to Icarium for the 2 1vs1's was surprised to be jumped by you when I was at full morale and you had no friends around.

We began another 1vs1 straight away after the 2nd 1vs1 while I was writing a paragraph long response to someone in ooc (while waiting for stun pot to come back off cd) then soon by anyone's definition the 1vs1 soon ended when you got low, fled while store potting to go back into stealth to fully regen then reengage me and claim to have beaten me 1vs1. I know your not familiar with the concept of 1vs1's so I'll enlighten you. In a 1vs1 you go to the death, not when your almost dead flee and come back when your at full morale, the concept is you take out the oppositions full morale, once not twice.

TL;DR - don't brag and claim to properly have beaten people in 1vs1 in ooc when you haven't actually done so.

Sounds like you lost a 1vs1 grish. You can word it however you like to make you happy but the end result is the same. He beat you without any outside interference.


Good 1vs1 para. If you want some possible tips to experiment with vs RKs let me know!

What did I lie about? You mentioned nothing of any npc or freep/creep interference. All you mentioned was that he took you from full morale down to nothing and killed you, 1vs1.

Liar being Icarium for bragging in ooc that I called out for help in a 1vs1 and still beat me, which is why I posted, ridiculous statements like this need to called out for what they are.

Btw great fights this morning, had a blast. Not sure how many hrs we were fighting for.

As if freeps don't constantly watch creep ooc provided how easy it is now?

I stink at 1v1 (hey, someone has to be below average at it). I am a much better healer than fighter I think. All that practice healing has left me lacking in kiting skills. Plus I tend to build up gear for healing, not DPS (I am more of a part time Moors-goer). But I still enjoy 1v1s. If nothing else it's good practice. In fact, I owe a certain creep some 1v1s on Candy Mt. sometime soon... I did promise. Although I feel like a chicken putting my head on a block and pointing at my neck saying, "right here Col Sanders... right here!"

I always love it when I actually win a 1v1 too--and sometimes I do. I think one of my favorite 1v1s was against a creep was one where we both died. I killed him and his DoT killed me... it was pretty funny at the time. I think I know who's creep it was, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of the creep (it was over a year ago). So I am reluctant to post it was "so-and-so" and be wrong. I'll have to ask him if it was him next time we are both in game (assuming he even remembers).

-Spec
-how many spars
-Rank #
-Time and location

Each spar will begin once we both do a /dance
i will be using DP buffs so i dont care if you get captain buff,DP,hope, and even a mini close for the extra vit/will-fate

Also wanted to LOL at this. You straight up lost 1v1. You should have killed him before he fled. No one helped him kill you.

Always fun TURINE..I liked the 2 times we died at the same time an got to sit together dead an watch the fights for a bit.

As for people jumping in, thats the moors I expect it.

Any time NPCs or not...I will understand.

The only thing that isnt right in the moors an they have to figure out how to fix it is.....When I am on my WL I should be invincible, an no one should be allowed to even target me......lol

I want to thank our favorite BA for a fair and hard fought best of three 1v1 on CM the other day. He manned up and didnt use more than ten store bought goodies Honestly tho Rashypoo i appreciate it, even though you won two of three. /salute

Good 1v1 Feowise, epic double kb. I panicked a litlle when my first dev strike got evaded. I fear to think what would've happened if the fight ended one second earlier and my dev strike wasn't off CD.

Fought some new warden, forgot the name but was tough keep it up!

And i fought lazy a few times today so thanks for the fights, i had zero cds up for any of them so i did my best to try and make it a good fight either way always a pleasure

I would mention some of the Wargs that I have fought but I have not yet had a 1v1 where the you didn't hips, sprinted away, or jump me with the rest of your warg pack.
