Devil is in the details....Lifers (and other "VIPs") read this
I'm hoping someone will just tell me that my tinfoil hat is not fitting well today (hopefull Sapience) but this particular sentence regarding Lifers (VIPs) worries me.All you have to do is keep playing the game and visit the LOTRO Store to spend your free Turbine Points.
I completely understand the need to "keep playing" although logging in once a month is completely stupid for a VIP (it sure helps inflate Turbine's MAUs though - monthly active users), but okay fine. However, the second part of the sentence seems to imply we have to spend our points, as in there may be a cap as to how many you can have or even worse it's part of the "activity" requirement.
Any thoughts?

It just a badly worded sentence. Turbine Points don't have an expiration or cap (at least not in DDO).

I think your hat's a little tight.
The second half of the comment is sort of like giving you an allowance and they telling you to go spend it. You can save your monthly allotment until you find something you want. Or save them up for a big purchase like an entire expansion or something similar. Points don't expire.

I think it's just the wording that sounds odd.
It's the same store as over in DDO, and you can horde your turbine points as long as you want. You just have to log in at least once a month to earth the monthly allowance.

I don't have any idea how this stuff works, since I don't play DDO or any other game that works like that.
But logic would tell me that if you pay money for points (which is a revenue stream for the company), why would said company care whether you ever use them or not? They've got your money, the points would be of no concern to them.

I will periodically take breaks from the game. If I don't log in for a couple of months, do I lose my lifetime subscription or just not get the free points.
