Furthest Charge: Rain of Thorns- You rain 5 thorn arrows down upon your enemies, allowing you to pin multiple targets.

The pages to this book are the light blue pages, therefore they are all random drops off any level 39+ humanoid mob.

There's a thread over in the Champ forum about Controlled Burn.

In short:
- Same in combat power regen as fervour
- One pip every 5 seconds (same as fervor)
- +18% to melee offense (instead of +15% from fervour)
- Allows Block, Parry and Evade
- Only usable in combat
- Morale must stay above 20% for Controlled Burn to stay active

I know first 4 pages do drop off from Morrovals in Ram Duath but I tried to get the last 4 pages from gobbies in the Misty. So far, no luck at all. Can someone post some detail information about this, please.

I have yet to find anything that explains exactly what is meant by "Line Bonus." Is this simply another bonus you get with the trait automatically, does it require you have certain other class traits slotted, or is it something that builds up as you continue to use the skill? Can't seem to find a clear answer in the official game guide, in LotRO-wiki, or here on the boards, so I'd really appreciate if someone could clarify for me. Some people claim it's just a flat bonus, but others have equipped traits and found the Line Bonus (e.g., +10 might) was clearly not active, implying that some combination was required to activate it.

I need some help. I've been farming spider for the book of knives for about 7days and the last page i need of them hasnt dropped at all.

Could it be possible that it was on a mob i killed right before i died and couldnt loot it that it thinks i have it and wont drop for me?

I've had a similar issue with Book of beasts, but have been assured that all the 4 pages drop from them, some are just rare.

The first page for the Hunters Book "A Shot in the Dark: Bard's Arrow", dropped from a Level 38 Wight in the Trollshaws, so I think the statement that Books and Pages drop from Level 39+ MOB's needs to be updated.

Problem there is not all the pages drop from any lvl 39+ mob. I've been looking at how to put this into the list , currently it seems there are 2 types of pages. 1 that drops from lvl 39+ and one that only drops for the class once they have the book, ie Loremaster - Book of the Beasts, these pages only drop from certain mobs and only the loremaster will see them once he's got the book.

ATM I'm trying to work out which of these books/pages need to be changed to drop from random lvl 39+ humanoid mobs.

I aided my guildie Minstrel in farming Ongburz Orcs for his book pages (after he'd obtained the necessary book and had spoken to the proper NPC of course) for a couple hours yesterday. Over 200 Ongburz killed during that time... and not a single page for him. We followed this post and farmed the Ongburz west of Donnvail (sp?).

So much for farming for legendary pages... if I wanted to return to my WoW farming days (what a complete and utter waste of one's time btw)... I'd have re-upped in WoW and not kept with this game. Personally, I don't think our book pages should be that difficult to obtain... books yes... pages no.

Other minstrels can correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember getting those pages from the uruks in the cave that is near the western edge of the malenhad (same cave where you collect the gold dust and is the cave for 'Dark Hunters' quest).

Yes, we farmed both of those "gold" and "silver" quest caves for them... and got nadda (no pages) as well.

I'm sorry, but this legendary trait stuff has become such a bore for me that I've given up on it. If they drop... they drop... if not I'll be a level 50 with no legendary traits for a while. I'm not revisiting the wasted/mundane grinding that led me to leave WoW. I'll save the 10gp per book I need and purchase them in a year or two when I have the cash.

Which uruk cave is it talking about for the loremaster Lore of the book trate

I find it interesting that our captains don't seem to be getting pages (or they just not helping our their comrades). Any info on the Red areas above would be great. Thanks all for your input.

Try looking at the Captain's guide on the Captain's forum.. it has all the information you, or other Captains, need save the last 4 of Candles.

I can confirm that the first four pages for the Lore of the Blade legendary trait for loremasters can drop from any of the orcs in fasach-falroid. I got 2 inside the Uruk cave (the one just south of Donnvail), one from a random orc roaming outside in the hills between Donnvail and Dun Covad, and one from Morfil (the OTHER orc cave, that's closer to Dun Covad).

A friend of mine found 3 pages off the orcs in the wooden fenced area just outside the entrance to Dun Covad.

Im a level 25 champ in the LONE LANDS and I have been to all the places(i have a strat guide) but it isn't triggering, do i have to be a certain level to achieve these deeds?

some of the location markers are restricted by level i maybe wrong but i dont believe lone land ones should be at level 25.

Yes, there are some of us who peruse the forums as a whole and/or communicate with others. As far as I've determined, these last four pages that "nobody knows??????" about are purportedly not in-game and this will be addressed in the upcoming patch.

I camped those and I never got any pages drop I did them when I didnt got any pages yet, is we need to found the 4 first pages first ? If so then it's normal I didnt got any ... going to retry them again...

you have a HUGE type for Dwarves Enmity of the Trolls I. The vitality bonus lasts 10 minutes, not 10 seconds! And I thought it was going to be a pointless trait after reading this.

Also the Hunker Down trait from Enmity of the Goblins III increases fire, shadow, and common mitigation by 75% for 10 seconds.

Strike enemies with the Sting skill x1500 appears to be correct - I only noticed the counter advance from use of the actual sting skill, as opposed to 'non shield' melee.

Can someone confirm that they do actually drop from the IC in Ram Duath please.
