Because, if I ask you to like me, it's fairly innocuous. On the other hand, if I ask you to fan me, props are required (at least a barge and a Cleopatra suit for me, and a large palm frond for you).

And THAT only works if you have the nose for it. Plus you need more than one. Really, one is not good enough on a hot day. I tried it. Not as Cleopatra though, don't have the nose for it.

My mistake. So the dual fan requirement on a sufficiently hot day requires two fanners, or one coordinated fanner with two fans, but only one rhinomaximal, er... fan-ee (for lack of a better term...)

You still have to have the nose for it.
