Hello all! What a site, what lore! Well...I'm curous as the individual names of Dúnedain Rangers. There were at least 30 that could be gathered for Aragorn's help...but what were their names? Any info appreciated!
In the legendarium, I don't believe any are ever named except for Halbarad. Obviously that won't be the case in the game.
* * * "From without the World, though all things may be forethought in music or foreshown in vision from afar, to those who enter verily into Eä each in its time shall be met at unawares as something new and unforetold."
I just reread the trilogy. NO other rangers are named except for Halbarad. So Turbine got to make them all up! If I had to guess, we meet 10 - 15 named rangers as we quest. However, we don't know which ones (other than Halbarad) survive long enough to meet up with Aragorn!
In Turbine's vision of Middle-Earth, there were actually more than 30 rangers that started travelling toward Rohan. Only 30 of them will reach Aragorn though, Halbarad naturally one of them. Every ranger but Halbarad has names invented by Turbine.
I found a post which lists a good number of rangers (+rep to Ioffryd for the list).

Named females are indicated with (F) after their names.
Those marked with * are "out of uniform"; i.e., not wearing traditional Ranger gear. This can be either civilian clothes or non-ranger gear/armour.

That is a wonderful list, but obviously the unnamed ranger saying "It's a trap!" is named Akbar.
Champ Responsiblities: 1. Stop the inductions! 2. Keep the "Morale Booster" (Mini, RK, Cappy, LM) without agro, you go down before they do. 3. DPS (Yes last)
I've had this argument for decades with various Tolkien fans. The "only thirty" comment from the actual book is only a reference to how many Halbarad could gather *quickly*. While I don't think there were thousands of Rangers wandering the entirety of Middle-Earth I am a supporter of the argument that there were probably hundreds of fighting men and most were wandering the entirety of Middle-Earth in a similar fashion of Aragorn.

This. There were more Rangers, but there was a need of haste. Just as the Rohiriim had more men, they couldn't wait either, and so left with the approx 6000 they had.
Heck they didn't even need to be wandering all that far. Imagine trying to find rangers that are hiding, working in small groups or solo, and you don't have a lot of time to look for them. If quickly was "Anyone we can get a message to in couple days, and can reach us in the same" and it can take 4 days of hard riding to go from Bree to Imladris in good conditions, you can see why so few made it. It's probably more of a wonder that that many showed up.
Don't forget the southern rangers that remained in the Gondor area that we see helping out Faramir in Ithillien. It's not quite clear how many there were that stayed in the southern kingdom who may be not as closely related to Aragron as others, but they are still dunedain and of that blood.

They'd got nothing to do with the Rangers of the North and didn't know a thing about them: they were a completely separate bunch hand-picked by Denethor to do what they could in Ithilien. They ranged about there, and unlike Aragorn's men they didn't go all over the place because they had a very specific job to do right where they were (keeping an eye on what Mordor might be up to).
The other difference is that Aragorn's people seem to be a good bit tougher and hard-bitten.
