Thread: .NET framework initialization error

So I just got made a new computer and put LOTRO over into an external hard drive and tried to run it but i got this error.

"to run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET framework:
V1.1.4322
Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET framework."

What does this mean? I have done the same thing on my laptop and didn't get this problem. What do i do?
