Running from creeps when if you stayed and fought you could get a kill, leeching from raids, I've already talked about how you spend an inordinate amount of time in greenie areas, to name a couple.
Hell yes I'm gonna try and get away from the creep raid. Last night the raid cought me numerous times. Each time I died in under 5 seconds. Like I have told you before I'm doing this solo, no heals or bubbles from a raid. Even your boy Luth(who you think walks on water) would not be able to grab a kill vs that.

How do you think a burg should be played in the moors? According to you I'm doing it wrong. I would really like an answer for you or anyone else for that matter.
So far I the things I'm doing wrong are.....
Killing greenies.
Killing someone on the edge of a raid an trying to get away.
Running from warg packs.
Going solo

Just because he hips from a 3v1 doesn't make him a star hugger. 3v1s with wargs werent hard before KO got nerfed, I remember silencced sitting there with KO up not even attacking and wargs kept hitting him until they got to 2k and a group showed up.

Are you effing kidding me? Hardia killed 3 ranked wargs? Hardia? I'm throwing the BS flag. What &&&&&& ranked wargs were they? Any of you ranked wargs out there think that's possible? Nowadays a good ranked warg can give a burg a run for his money in a 1 on 1.
Blah, fighting last night was awesome. Freeps had some spine, Creeps had some spine, had some amazing action away from keeps. My small group got rolled a few times =)
Please explain how I benifit from holding on to 2 stars. I would love to hear it
Well I am just going off of odd bits of information I have picked up from OOC but the way I kinda understand it to work is when you have a daddy star and a mommy star who love each other they place a order on the store and some big bird will grab a baby star from a cabbage patch and drop it off C.O.D in the quest room of ta so then you have 3 stars so I guess if you want more stars then you have to hang on to the first 2 so the bird will bring them to you. Then you have to keep the 3rd star healthy so the big bird will bring you a fourth one and so on and so forth so I guess the only benifit to holding on to two stars is to get 3 stars and there is really no point in that. I am not 100% sure this is how it works I may be getting it confused with were babies come from

Axetoe do your thing! I don't care where you are I love running into you out there. I pick on hunters (the equivalent of farming greenies, some would say) so I guess were cut from the same cloth.
Axe, I think you know how much I love you in a strictly platonic way, the way a starving, malnourished orc might love a rotund and juicy hobbit. But I have to tell you that it was not a one-sided roflstomp last night. The fights were surprisingly good in that both sides died and both sides wiped multiple times, at least while I was on, and that was for about 2 hours.

coolest fight tonite was that 4v8 by xroads, although we only got 1 kill we held up pretty good for randoms versus that group of 3, yummy and that pack.
Again good 1v1s muz, although i usually only win when i have KO and hips up. good to see you dont get upset and throw a fit like a certain elitist out there. Massive lol at that warg pack too, please all 3 of you keep hitting me while i hit ko and heal just to make my job easier.

ok guys n gal's..apple's gotta say somethin ( this is a tad out of hand). the moor's is an are were a war is fought, WAR: a battle, set of battles with the intent of fellling your opponent. fair and war dont belong in the same parragraph, i feel any tactics used period to survive is called for, if i got to run a stupid opponent into my npc's, ill do it. if i got to get into a group to kill a person whos been kickin my &&&& and steamroll him i will, there is no mercy or remorse so why cry about petty &&&&, just go out and KILL, who frikin cares about whs tactics, you dont like em tough cookies, now pick your swords back up and get back to battle!

Gone are the days of good burgs, Flaky Quickfeet and Azazil would make Hardia look like Troggle.
Not trying to start anything here but I love when people say things like this. How do you know how this generation of burgs stacks up against the ones that came before? Those three burgs have pretty much not played since the expansion. How do you know for sure they would still be good?
When I was greenie burg, two of those guys were still around. I would kill their creeps, they would switch back to burgs and &&&&& me out. “you attacked me with 2k health” “you attack me while I was questing for maps” “I had no CDs during our fight, come fight me again” “you used touch and go”(that’s my fave) ect. The way I look at it, that a sign of a &&&&&& player. Im just saying.
Don’t get me wrong, I not claiming to be a better player than any of them. How do you know were not as good nowadays? Burgs as a class are not what they were a year ago. Everyone knows that. We not under powered by any means. Were just not as strong as we were. I think your compairing apples to oranges
I don't think Balin necessarily meant that those 3 were the only 'good' Burgs to have ever played on Arkenstone. However, they were 3 of the best. I would add Cig, Roh, and Bing to that list as well (awesome Burgs that no longer play). They all played the class extremely well, and in different ways to some degree; Arkenstone was a better place to pvp when they roamed the map...
to me burglars all seem to be about the same on ark, sneak up behind something for an easy kill and if its not an easy kill they hips and go try someone else? *shrug*
Burgs die alot more than you guys think. its crazy how often im chased by a group of 10 plus creeps Either that or i jump a creep and 10 wargs come out of nowhere xD Times are different. back then when all of these guys played burgs where the Dominant class out there.

I know when people transferred off our server they continue to post on the arkenstone forums a lot of the time. This rubs most people the wrong way, me included, when they continuously come back and rag about how much worse Ark is. This does drive me nuts. But I haven't seen Balin post anything like this. His posts are like they have always been, he has toons on this server, and to be honest he's one of the few left that still posts on our boards. I wouldn't be so quick to drive people off....

I transferred a few weeks ago and I will be one to say that the grass is not greener on E. Maybe it was a year or two ago, but definitely not now. I dont really care since my Lotro days are coming to an end and I had plenty of TP to spend on a transfer. There are better players I would say but they seem pretty zergy. Chief among them is this APEX group that Balin joined up with. I never took you for the type to join up with a bunch of ez moders like this group. This game has gotten so bad balance wise that has become unplayable. Anyway, had to vent a little so came to you stoners.
Numbers have dwindled A LOT in the 5 years I've been playing this game, and they're probably going to dwindle noticeably more soon enough. I'd think people would be focusing on having FUN (odd concept, I know) and enjoying battles in the moors with the people who haven't left (and by that I mean the server or the game) instead of coming to a forum to debate who plays a virtual character better.

Lol! There was a call out in OOC something to the effect of "small group in Ost" so of course i went...rounded the corner and was like...um...thats not really a small group :/

There was some chatter after the buffet however about spies etc. as you can imagine. Not going to get into that too much because its pretty played out imho but a quick request...dont do that, its bad!
My small Hastie group had a lot of fun until we had to bail around 11est or so. Lots of open field which was great especially considering when at one time there were 22 foe on track. The number of freeps I have to imagine was similar. Also Im curious, how do you captains trait out here?
I don't know about other servers, but I transfered in from Meneldor a few months back, and much prefer PvMP here in Arkenstone. I was chatting last night with friends back on Meneldor about how much fun the PvMP is over here. I might have even talked one or two into trying it out. I've had a lot of fun here and have met a lot of good players here on each side of the freep/creep battle line!
