Well, I have been back for about two weeks. I have run around solo and have lead a few groups/raids. I joined a few more and watched what the people are doing these days. I even soloed while raids where doing something... The whole problem with today's arkenstone pvmp is stupidity. About 85%, everyone under rank 10 except for a few wardens, of the people I see running do not know what to do. They are so fast to group because they probably couldn't 1v1 a greeny. I have 4 audacity in two weeks, Its not that hard to get. These guys are flipping every night because they don't know how to fight, focus fire, be quiet and some don't even know how to ride a horse. Basically the creeps have to be more dumb so the freeps get better. I am not trying to be cute but these are the worst freeps that have ever been around........a transfer might be in my future aswelll
I don't have to imagine that, I already get enough blind invites from level 75 reavers...and dogs...and BAs....and WLs...you get the point.
I've learned it's my fault for not turning my invites off if I know I'm going to be soloing. Do you get that alot on freepside? When I used to play freepside I didn't notice it much. Then again that was years ago.
Over the past three or four days there's been a sudden influx of level 40s in the Moors freepside for some reason. They like to spam people with ninja invites. It's not normal at all, though, it's pretty odd. Usually if I see a 40 out they'll end up at about OC and either get killed by a roaming creep or an NPC.
Whats the point when minnes are so OP its not funny the way they are in the moors you would think they are main tanks or you could just put a hole raid of minnes and blow anything up in pve land. What the hell was the GM smoken when they did this.
Good on ya. Got wiped a couple times and kept coming back for more until you all eventually wiped us. Refreshing to see freeps not give up right away but rather choose to change your tactics until you figured out how to get the W.
Nice example of what the moors can and should be, learn and adapt, no crying no complaining.
Some stranger ran a freep raid last night which I believe had the sole intent of fighting creeps. Funny thing was the creeps who had up to that point outnumbered freeps didnt seem to want to fight that raid. It ended up taking a relic and disbanding. Interesting Also props for not flipping lugz even though the opportunity presented itself. Anyway...nice leading & good job freepies!

Lol that was good Mai. I suggest we change it to, thats what Mai said! IMHO ark pvp is about the same its pretty much always been. With all the people that have transfered off Ark if we still had all those people Ark would be top pvp server in game I bet. However we don't we have a medium population with a creep or freep base that gets good and transfer. Ark is like the revolving door server lol.
Hey guys, good to see everyone. It's been a while since I have been steadily PvMPing on Ark. After reading the last few pages of this thread 2 things occurred to me:
1. Freeps and Creep alike still complain about raiding up.
2. PvE is still happening in the moors.
While I do not want to go into a huge surmon because it would just fall on deaf ears, and I would get a lot of TLDR's, I do want to say a couple things.
1. ASSESS THE SITUATION
- If you are raided up and you are running over the same 3 or 4 freeps or creeps....chances are, you dont need to be raided, and reform wnen the opportunity presents itself.
- If you out number your opponent, don't flip the entire map, this destroys PvP because freeps and creeps alike do not want to fight from EC/OC. Keep fighting is an excellent dynamic in this game and provides to opportunity for fighting to continue even if one side is out numbered.
2. RESPECT YOUR OPPONENT
- I said respect, that doesnt mean like. This goes to the whole killing PvP thing. STOP ZERGING EC/OC for the 2 - 3 freeps or creeps that maybe out. Guess what happens? They will log too and now you dont have anything to kill. You want PvP to be an enjoyable experience for both sides, this is what keeps people coming back.
3. PVE
- While PvE does need to happen to help facilitate PvP, what has been going on the last week is rediculous. An entire raid of PvEing freeps coming out to the moors just to flip keeps and get your comms. While I cant tell you what to do with your 14.99 a month, what I can say is this: YOU ARE KILLING PVP FOR THE REDT OF US THAT WANT TO. If its dead out, and there are no creeps/freeps to be had, flip the keeps, but if we are in the middle of prime time, PVP please. The ones that do PvP are getting steam rolled by a raid of creeps that is raided to fight a PvE raid that has no intention on actual PvP.
Remember, we are the only ones that can fix our PvP.
There are nights when I've been in larger freep groups, and we've rolled smaller creep groups. Then there are nights I wonder why everyone logged in creepside, and I spend half my time running back from the rez circle. That's the Moors...... still a lot of fun
One thing that did dissappoint me, however. Last night I saw a corpse jumping incident around a spar where Drendolith was killed and corpse jumped multiple times while trying to watch sparring. That sort of thing is uncalled for. I've been in groups with her a couple of times where she's asked that we leave smaller groups of creeps alone (and don't touch soloers) when there were groups closer to our size to battle with.
It's a Tag game not a Grudge game...... let's keep it fun!

I think what you don't realize is there is a lot of lower ranked creeps who need the comms from flipping keeps... those low ranks can barely lend much support in fighting the freeps.. therefore they form up to flip a keep to get some more comms... so that they one day can be much more useful in the fights. Unfortunately those low ranks cant flip a keep by themselves.. and get some support from higher ranked creeps to get the job done.. it may be called PVE... but I guess you forget that creeps HAVE to pve in order to get their maps...

usually greenies dont flip lc during primetime while there is a freep raid out, so than they flip keeps when freeps arent on the next day to do maps. but whatever, i learned what happens when you talk about lc getting flipped last time well enough. Axe youve been getting so much love these past couple days lol, wonder what happened to your little reaver

It was a blood hand raid that flipped LC. I was there, I saw the whole thing. Honestly I don't really care they did it. A red map is better for me anyway. I just think its funny creeps &&&&& about PvE, but yet they do it as well. Just pointing that out.
Oh ya, another thing I find funny. Tonight for the short time I was on, the creep raid way outnumbered the freep raid. Creeps were kicking &&& all over the map. How come you didn't disband the raid? But yet if freeps are winning they should disband? I'm kind of in an interesting spot being that I'm not a raider. I can see both sides. Creep and freep raids are doing exactly the same thing to each other. And both are bitching about it.
And Shadow, I found out that reaver was a kinning goofing around. good stuff.
Oh ya, another thing I find funny. Tonight for the short time I was on, the creep raid way outnumbered the freep raid. Creeps were kicking &&& all over the map. How come you didn't disband the raid? But yet if freeps are winning they should disband? I'm kind of in an interesting spot being that I'm not a raider. I can see both sides. Creep and freep raids are doing exactly the same thing to each other. And both are bitching about it.
Or you can see nothing. The fights tonight were even with both sides wiping and getting alot of kills all evening. A non raider is not going to get clear picture of how raid v. raid fights are going.

The time you're speaking of i got a tell from a creep saying me and a few lower ranked buddies are taking LC while the freeps decide if they wanna move away WTA door, i relayed this message to the 3 other people in my group and so we went to help them. The difference between you and daec is that I've never seen daec say he doesn't protect his stars. He freely admits he does.

Running from creeps when if you stayed and fought you could get a kill, leeching from raids, I've already talked about how you spend an inordinate amount of time in greenie areas, to name a couple.
