Actually gassy was playing with the mini I told her to attack you so you would stop attacking me nothing against you or 1v1's its just I did not feel like spending a hour or 4 sparring you that would have been a really really long fight that my bladder could not have made it through.

Trollgogglesftl. I can name the number of guards on one hand that don't use their sprint to take off from a fight. Krug is one of them. Ballblitz and Belliphoron are the only other two that come to mind.

Yes he knows how to run without a raid behind him, because Noldor hardly raids out there. Most groups are 6 or less and more often groups of 3. Before you knock players you know nothing about, learn about the community around you.
Ojisan is the best solo Guard I've seen on Ark for a looooooong time. Geo was very good but hasn't been over here for quite some time. Sadly most of the guards on this server are freep-balling, shield-walling guards.. with the exception of the afor-mentioned Ojisan and a few other such as Jimmeo and Duzghal.

I can honestly say its extremely rare to see krugwulf solo (in my experience), unless by solo you mean hanging out around EC npcs, or with a gang of other ungrouped freeps.
I also must say that whenever i have came across him solo, he's done everything in his power to run to the nearest group of npcs.

Can't say the same. Krug has always been game for 1v1's when I've run across him. Last one was a couple months ago at wtab, beat him then Voodoo canned me on his burg. Would have done the same if I had been on my warg and props to Voodoo for waiting till the 1v1 was done.

Jimmy is a great solo guard, and probably one of the few I see. Every time I've come across Duzghal, he's got a healer and/or nuker tagging along (and in my mind, duo =/= solo). See above regarding Ojisan.

No one take me wrong here, I'm not bad mouthing the guards on this server - there are many that do very well for themselves out in our little sandbox, but the good solo and dps-oriented guards are hard to come by and I refuse to stand by while Voodoo tries to troll one.

The three guards you name Dir and no offence to them are the three most likely guards to be grouped IMO. I have never seen Ball/Belli/Krug roaming around soloing. I like them all don't get me wrong but IMO they arent soloing guards. You have been spreading lies ever since you came back from the fail move which is the only reason I decided to stick my nose where it doesnt belong. Ive personally had all three of them when trying to fight them comming down from Gv or back from a res all sprint and run from my defiler. They simply could have been getting back to the raid they were supposed to be supporting which is why they sprined away I have no idea.
Hey now, I'm solo like 80% of the time I'm out there and most of the times its just me and maie. But what does it matter if a guard is grouped or not and also what does it matter if people dont like 1v1's. A guard cant put out that much dps unless he or she has a first age. I dont care how god like Ojisan is. With the changes to the creeps and store bought creeps 2nd age dps without high might doesn't help alot. I completely understand traiting for the moors outside of keen blade if you dont have the new gear and high tier weapons.
I love how the new Ba's love to talk smack now that they can run and shoot and has 13 to 14 thousand moral its a lot harder for a guard to solo ba's when you can buy head shot, revenge, and the other skill that all can hit well over 5k plus drop fire traps in combat, but if I see you and your not a war leader I will solo you I might die but oh well.
I've never seen Ojisan outside of the Noldor SMALL groups, and I'm out there a lot, but that doesn't mean he doesnt solo - he may, I dunno. I will say this, he is the ONLY Guard that I've seen that has a two handed 1st age. That makes a huge difference when talking about the DPS that a guard can dish out, does it not? So while he may be a skilled Guard (again, havent fought him or seen him fight - but if Loki and Sathim vouch for him, I'm sure he's a beast), the fact that his build is much better than the other guards in question has at least something to do with him being considered the best out there (as it should, he put in the work to obtain the gear )
I mostly agree with what the others have said though... Krug, Ball, and Belli are terrific guards. They play their class well in group/raid settings. They support their healers, harass the enemy healers, pick up npcs - they do a nice job out there. Most of them even pick up the npcs that I may have pulled outside of the group (so thank you for that ). 'Cord is right though, the fact that they don't solo shouldn't matter, tbh.
All this talk about Guards and no mention of Mumonkan? Hands down the toughest player to kill on either side consistently the past 3-4 years.
The three guards you name Dir and no offence to them are the three most likely guards to be grouped IMO. I have never seen Ball/Belli/Krug roaming around soloing. i also solo about 80% of the the time like el...but when i start chatting in ooc alot of my friends shoot me invites..and some times i take them. i dont think grouping is all bad, i like the company sometimes but anyone who knows me..knows i enjoy a good raid on raid fight sometimes, just another part of the game. yeah i remember the defiler thing Derlan. 1v1 a defiler...the fight takes 15mins..and u know the likely hood of someone butting in coming from gv is very high. just made more sence for me to break contact that day....i meant no dissrespect by sprinting. and the thing about dir she has a way with "telling it how it is"...trust me shes in my kin, and she will be the first to call me out on BS thats why she rocks...once again "drama fun"..fire bad!!!! and dudes and dudets...im solo most of the time..not that it matters, but its funny yall think im a group hugger....i made rank 9 almost 90% of the time out of group. It is an upgrade, however small (and I wasn't complaining? merely pointing out that he does have that advantage over the other guards in question). Extra points for the expensive Guard legacies as well. I don't doubt there are other Guards with 1st age Two Handers, I said Oji was the only one -->I've seen<--, and most likely the only one that pvp's much.
1.) Its a pretty big compared but you have to have the might to back it up
2.) Im sure there are a lot of guards who have first agers Im sorry I didnt mention your kin when I was talking about them
3.) Guards where a good solo class when you didnt have store bought brands, potions, and rank 4 creeps with rank 15 skills. I think they still are but it is harder to solo (you know what Solo is right Balin) when you have to deal with the new moors. Now im not saying a guard cant solo any creep class but it became a lot harder.
Yes Coldstone, Zenki (I guess every guard in a certain kin) Geo Mum and a ton of other guards are great and I give them all kinds of props Cold and Tam taught me everything I needed to know about being a guard in the moors

Elricord I admire the fact that you do solo a good bit and are always out front charging regardless if the raid does with you. However, I can only assume you've never played a BA or it's been a while since you have. I really wish I could hit 5k on any of my skills, sadly the highest crit for Vital Target, which is a BA's highest hitting attack, on a freep has never been above 3k, ever. Perhaps you were hit by more than one Vital Target at once, which wouldn't be uncommon if BA's were trying to drop you. Guards are slow to die =O. Aside from my two cents about this one issue I'm not gonna add any gasoline to this fire. Can we all get back on topic and have a more constructive discussions? Perdy please!?
