Copper is crazy plentiful in the Delving Fields of the Shire. Good tin hunting there too. But for time spent, the Midgewater Marshes will give you a high concentration of copper and tin. Remember, because of a bug in the game, tin does not spawn the same rate as copper. It's about 2 to 1 or even 3 to 1 copper to tin.

Tier 2 stuff will be plentiful west and north of Bree town. The road from Bree to the Brandywine Bridge will lead you past some plentiful barrow iron nodes. Watch out for the critters though!

    Good prospecting!

How is it a bug? has that been confirmed? I had simply considered Tin to be on the same spawn rate as Silver, Gold and Platinum etc. Its the T1 rare ore spawn. As far as I knew, it wasnt supposed to spawn at the same rate.

I agree. Tin is on the level on Silver, Gold, etc. They make up the difference in this instance by producing 2 bronze ingots for 1 copper and 1 tin. I don't know what the current spawn rate is but when the game first launched it was 3:1 in coppers favor.

Its possibly a little less than that at the moment, between 4 and 5:1. Which data that Ive collected shows is inline with silver and gold. I have no data on platinum at this stage.

Honestly I think they need to tweek it up a bit. Too many of the craft skills need tin to make bronze. If there is 30 copper ingots sitting in your bank or inventory and no tin. There might be a problem. I was online last night for about 4 hours. I saw 2 tin nodes. But about 30 copper nodes.

Apparently, there's a higher ratio of copper to tin in order to feed the baby jewellers.

    I stand corrected.
