Hi All, I am trying out the 10 day free trial and am loving every minute of it so far. I'm having a minor issue of my graphics settings resetting to default at each logon. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying to set them back each time.
It could be a persmissions issue. If the client can't write to the settings file it can't save your changes.

Sorry for the lack of details. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit. I'm sure it isn't a permissions issue I've got full admin rights and user account control is turned all the way off. It worked fine for the first day of my trial, then I wanted to create a shortcut that wasn't just in my Games section of the start menu so I created a shortcut to the Turbine Launcher, and ever since I started it from that shortcut it hasn't been saving my settings. It doesn't work even if I use the shortcut in my games folder.
I'm suspecting a re-install may be in order, but I hope not.

On Vista/Win7 make the shortcut to TurbineInvoker.exe not launcher as Invoker is written to "elevate" the launcher file and client file correctly for systems with UAC. What's happening is because UAC is off you're not getting prompts that the game needs admin access, launching via Invoker should take care of that.
EDIT: Also make sure none of the three game files (turbinelauncher.exe turbineinvoker.exe and lotroclient.exe) is running in compatibility mode or "run as admin" either (right-click > properties > compatibility "tab")
