Thread: Ancient Rune-stone in Dark delvings

I wish to know where is the "Ancient Rune-stone" inside dark delvings instance. This on is needed to finish a deed called Runes of the Dark Delvings that rewards the title Diviner.

ps: Pls do not say, hit del all instance and you will find. I have tried a few times. And no, as far as I know, this one do not drops from mobs.

Are you sure? I thought it did drop from mobs.

I really dont remember which ones i got from mobs and which ones from floor.

Find a Sparkling Runestone (Picked up off mob)
Find a Chiseled Runestone (Picked up off mob)
Find a Ancient Runestone (Picked up off the ground)
Find a Dim Runestone (Picked up off the ground)

Its been a LOOONG time since I been in there.

If I remember correctly, one is at the bottom of the first boss. (like down in the water).

The other is at the last boss.

Man its been so long, im not even sure... ill keep doing research.

*EDIT* I tried to find some of my older posts, but I cant. Sorry. I did list it as picked up off the ground, so it is picked up off the ground. Clear it and then go back and search every room. Remember, this might not blink, so mouse over everything.

I hate to bump this from the dead, but the ancient rune-stone is the only thing standing between me and my moria meta-deed, does anyone know where to find this?!

There was one runestone on the ground, behind the strongbox from Gurvand. Did you get that one?

I am looking for the Dim Runestone. I have already run this a few times but its been a while. Any clue where that one is? And about how far into the instance? Thanks

this may be too late to do you any good, but that was also one I was missing - made a dedicated search, and found it

Ancient runestone is on the ground - it's after the last boss, just a little ways past the chest - just keep following the corridor out, and on the ground in a corner at a turn, it *should* be there, assuming I'm remember the correct runestone

hope that helps someone - sorry, can't remember anything about the dim runestone

The Dim Runestone is on the ground near the centre of the room where you fight the second boss - pressing del probably won't find it because it'll highlight the loot chests instead. Search around near the chests.

The Ancient Runestone is, as described above, in the corridor just past Gurvand, behind a door that only opens when you kill him, right next to the loot chest. Again, del won't find it because it'll select the chest.

A key tip for both is to have floating names *on* because then they will be easy to see. If not, they are small and easy to miss.

The other two drop from mobs, any Nameless mobs in the instance. I've got them both from the very first pull a couple of times, other times it took a couple of runs.
