Thread: Discount at all stable masters. O RLY?

When I'm on my freeps and I'm out in the Moors I usually just map out after I'm done there. Last time there was the Welcome Back Weekend buff I noticed that the stable in Glân Vraig was charging 35 silver for a ride out of the Ettenmoors. I checked it again for the current even that is giving the same buff and they stable there is still charging.

I think the buff needs to read +100% discount at all stable masters for PvE players.

they lied about the moors horse.

For some reason they're afraid of more drama, dunno why.

If you're gonna advertise something, just say moors horse not included.

they did it last time too.

Yeah i have to farm money to pvp sigh .

Everyone does, both Freeps and Creeps. never thought I see another compliant about the Moors and money once they removed the gear damage though. lol.


PS: do what we do and farm your money in the Moors, then you can PvP and get paid for it.

Wow, you need to find a better forum to post in.

You're not preaching to the choir in here.

We expect the Ettenmoors to get at least the same treatment as any other zone with these events. Having our stable-master somehow being the only stable excluded for the price is not cool, despite whatever semantics you want to argue with what's quoted above.

it's always a "bug" when it comes to the moors.

They don't update the moors vendors when the rest get updated.
They don't apply ANY scrutiny to the cost of moors gear.
They don't update the moors freep chests on the same schedule as the updates to the rest of the game.
And they apparently don't consider our horse routes to be part of the "stables" in the game.

Oh and the GRANDDADDY of them all?? The lag in the moors. If there was game lag in ANY other zone like there is in the moors the game would be fixed. EVERY time there's even been CLOSE to as much lag major game systems have been changed, i.e. look at the moria IXP instances and the 5/hour lockouts.

The way everything that touches the Ettenmoors has been through time overlooked is by far the most aggrivating thing about LotROs PvMP.

Forget balance.
Forget population.
Forget CJs.

Just give the Ettenmoors the SAME attention ANY other zone gets in the QA process. It's as if the Ettenmoors isn't on a core database somewhere and they keep forgetting to add it.

The use of the word "stables" implies all stables, not a select few.

Furthermore the fact that ALL other stables, except the Ettenmoors, have the discount reinforces that this is an exclusion.

Come on. Stop with the symantics.

This is an ongoing problem with how the Ettenmoors zone is treated seperately from the rest of the game instead of being held to the same standards.

No, because it's a known issue...even though it's not listed as a known issue we can feel fairly confident that the devs know about it.

Look, I'm not looking to make their job harder. But some things should be a little more consistant.

There is NO way this would've gone live if the EXACT same bug was affecting Bree. NO WAY.

Frankly it's not even about the money. There's no real use for coin in this game anyhow...at least no MAJOR use. The fact is from where I'm sitting it's just disrespectful to a portion of their player base. And THAT's the real problem.

And this isn't the first time. There's a pattern of things not getting done in the Ettenmoors when changes are made to the other zones. How many months was it before the Ettenmoors vendor was updated with the appropriate pots?

They let us send in tickets to get into CD when the tower was broken.

Seems no different in terms of both are known broken mechanics.

I didn't know that Turbine already knew about this and considered it a "bug". Actually, I just found it humorous that Turbine is giving this Welcome Back Weekend buff in an attempt to get players who have been away from the game renewed interest in it. Yet, it seems like they only want to get the PvE players to come back and not the PvP players to come back.

It seems to me that Turbine is treating this the same way that NBC treated Star Trek in the late '60s. Everyone loves it and wants it, but lets try everything to make it fail.

I agree with you, if any of the bugs happened in PvE there would be greater attention to the problems then there is in the only PvP zone in the game.
