The Moors to me is more then just PVP. Its a culture and game all to its own, unique among any MMO game out there. Its a wild variety of conditions, rules both written and unwritten unique to each server and playstyles.
The needs of the crews out there change like water channels down a hillside rapidly. Small groups tactics may have to switch rapidly to deal with the sudden appearance of a small but powerful mix of classes on the other side. Hours of Boredom spent patrolling the offbeat areas or sitting in keeps may be interrupted by a sudden and unexpected assault. A night of raid upon raid may suddenly devolve in to random packs and solos crisscrossing the map to try and figure out what the hell the other side if doing, not knowing that the other side went to bed.
Sometimes we get that perfect zone where you get to play it just like you like it, other times everyone uses you like a renown vending machine.
The point is.. it changes moment to moment. there is no SET standard footing out there. We cant force it, anymore then we can force our Dev's to settle on one damned set of conditions to play by. We have to understand, there are as many ways to play the game as there are people who play it, that means sometime, we are going to get frustrated and pissed off.. but we get over it a day later when things fall our way.
I know, I ramble.. but I said what I had to say... I think.
It took someone as wise as you Basterni to write what you did.
The Moors are ever changing and that is the challenge to playing against real players instead of NPC's. Just when you have things figured out something changes.
I may not can drink anymore.. but I cleaned up that old Icie Machine, and started running Coke and Cherry in it... damn near as good as drinking again.. I love them things.
