I no longer have a screen shot of this, but a couple of weeks ago, myself and 2 others were killing the cargul flake dropper that appears outside of SG. I dropped Ents on him while the cappy oathbreakers were up and it hit for 5535. There were no other buffs on. Tar would have added about 10% and the warding circle for the dead would have added another 10%. So the hit potentially could have hit for approx 6697
Take off the Oathbreakers the hit would have been for 3598, add on the tar and warding circle it would have been 4353.
I don't know about you, but I think that is very high. I kinda wish there had been more than one mob there since Ents can hit 5 targets. I often see muliple crits with ents when more than one mob is around.

With all due respect, screenshot or it didn't happen.
The biggest hit I've ever landed with Ents was ~3400 points, but it was on a spider in the Spider-Nest (DV instance) 5 levels below me...and even then I'm sure it was some kind of fluke. hehe I can regularly drop ~1600-2000 point hits with Ents or LotRD in MoNF mode on at-level mobs, though, which is still nothing to sneeze at.

This sounds right. My ents has hit multiple times for over 4400. Lightning storms for over 3300 per strike and have had two for exactly the same amount over 3300 in one cast on one mob, on the fell beast. Cracked earths regularly over 1000 per mob, many times on multiiple mobs in one cast. Cracked earth with its short cooldown can really be good dps when multiple targets are around. No screen shots but my kin was there.
Yes. MoNF is fun to run and there can be high numbers. You'll need a turtle shell bracelet. All six pieces of the Watcher set. A level 65 staff with 10% tactical damage legacy and the 25% fire crit legacy on a book. I don't remember if I had the ent damage legacy or the lightning legacy on whatever staff I had in my hand each time. Maxed out will at 650 and very very high fate. High tactical crit at least 2500. Of course you can't penalize yourself and need good other gear to keep your power and morale up.
Others get much higher nuimbers. Fo me it's just for fun. Ettenmoors. Solo. That kind of thing, I am much more effective to a fellowship in a support role traited AM.
p.s. to be more precise, i think this is gets about all of it, have 1st age book with 3% tactical damage on it plus a scroll from Midnight Run? for another 5% fire damage. The reason for the level 65 staff is to max out the tactical rank at 18. On the staff have the crafted relic for + to both tactical damage and tactical crit. My tactical damage stat runs about 9000 with some of the other relics scattered in there.

You really don't need and turtle shell or watcher set, I just have the perfect staff and commonly see crits for 3k + crits/devs on ents. And yes full AM LM = ftw

Yea I tested it out the other day on a common cargul that just stand around gathburz it doesn't work
Using tar, warding lore, and ancient craft I generally hit for 4k.
That's by myself. But if you really want to hit hard just for the heck of it, do the first boss of the hall of mirrors, it gives +300% damage or something like that.

Depending on what you are fighting damage varies a lot, as Bedelian said do the 1st boss in HoM to see really see buffed damage. Another boss that is good to try is Goilag in Prancing Pony skirmish, got a decent ISG on him today (sorry for the messy UI):
here was one I found of a multi target Ents at level 60 (no ents legacy on my Staff)
I have many better figures than these but don't want a nerf bat to come in and see them
Here are a few from this weekend on Elendilmir in my full damage build which I don't usually run in unless I am grouped. The targets will have a few debuffs but these are roughly the dev numbers I would see a few times a week.
I'm a big fan of BE so have both damage and ranged legacies on my staff
Poor Hellnakh, pretty sure she had othies on her for ISG to hit that hard

Ok, I haven't touched my LM since SoA, but how come no one is mentioning the raven debuff when trying to maximize damage?
If I remember correctly, benediction buffs fire dmg by 10% and it can be stacked with tar. I remember asking the hunters in my raid to put the fire oil on and watch the damage go up. Ward, tar, and benediction should amount to a sizable dmg increase (i know ancient craft used to buff dmg as well back in the day, but I'm not sure if it works for fire dmg anymore. If it does, throw that in as well!). That's what, a 50% increase in damage?
OK, this final scenario is kind of difficult to do but just for fun, how about you throw a cappie in there with a telling mark and oathbreakers?
Well with full MoNF, 650 fate, full watcher set, fully leveled ents legacy (+10%), fully leveled tac dmg rating (+18 on 3rd age lvl 65, still after my 2nd age), fully leveled tactical skills direct damage (+10%), fully leveled fire skills critical multplier (+25%) I have critter for 4.2k on regular mobs and 4.6k in sh with extra dmg buff, and 4.8k in sh with capts OB. I try to record all my crits in my bio, I'll post it when I get a chance.
Also with the same gear/stats I have hit totals of 3k+ with lightning crits adding up all 3 hits, still gotta get a few more scrolls of empowerment to level that lightning storm dmg rating. (don't record those crits because they take too much room in bio)
I've also hit 1.5k or so with ISG before + dot
as far as creeps, I've 2shotted creeps with ents+lightning combo but they weren't high rank with crazy mits/moral.

this isthe gear I use (still trying to get that last watcher piece for +10% fire)
