Is it possible to change the class of an existing toon?

I have a warden. I like the name she has and how she looks. I would like it if I could just change her class to that of a burg. Is this possible??

Nope, you'd have to roll another toon.

You can change the name of your toon only.

It is possible to convince yourself that you are another class and play as if you are.

For example, I am a lore-master but I play as if I am a guard

I am a Burg and play as if I were King Kong.

Yea you can. Simply go out and charge into a mob of mobs and do melee attacks only. And don't use your pet! Good luck fellow guard! I sense that your gonna be an epic tank! Can we have you on our next DG run?

Some classes can. Like a hunter can do melee attacks and actually kill a mob. A warden can kill with javelins. But lms have only one melée attack. Can't do much with that. Some classes can multi act like champs and guards, both can dps and tank well.

If you like the name and do not want to keep the warden, just delete it and turn around and create your burg with the same characteristics and name.

If you want to keep your warden, you can change its name and roll your burg.

also, if you decide not to delete and restart the toon, you could slightly change the new name so it fits - kinda like she could be a sister or some such of your warden. An added silent e at the end of the name, or the like, works pretty good.

Wardens can kind of act like burgs....just stealth around alot, and don't use any ranged damaging attacks...

Can someone help me? I started out as a guardian elf (lvl 9) and I want to be a hunter. I don't want to loose all the money, etc. I put into this character, but she just doesn't fight fast enough and I'm not into fighting. (love everything else). Ususally, in these kinds of games I cheat with a powerful sword or XP so that I can get the fighting over with. BTW, I play solo. How can I change her to be a hunter?

It is not possible to change the class of a character.

Perhaps someday it may be offered as a premium service. There is another game I know of that does offer this service but I will not mention it's name on these forums.

First create a new hunter, then mail the money to the hunter. You can also mail unbound stuff (e.g. potions, food). Some items are Bound to Account. You can pass those to your hunter via the Shared Vault. Items that are Bound on Acquire (or simply Bound) cannot be passed.
