We've been having a discussion in our kin regarding the most efficient way to level up multiple items. My understanding is that if you have 6 slotted, the ixp each items earns is effectively divided by 4, thus getting about 50% more total ixp from each mob kill/quest turn-in. Am I way off base?
I'm sure this gets brought up a million times. If someone wants to point me to a thread or discussion on this topic, that would be great too.
There was a thread long ago that a player created that showed the math. You are correct from what I recall. The more LI's you have slotted that can gain ixp, the more ixp (in total) you will get divide across all 6 of them.

I dunno about the exact values but the more you have slotted, the better sort of. The bonus is only on kill xp, as I understand it, not quest xp (???) and runes are a flat value no matter what (sure of this one). However, gaining 50% more xp at 1/4th the normal rate is very, very slow AND, its nearly impossible to max out an item on kill xp alone, you have to quest them up or earn runes to apply.
IE the bonus is great for a rack of level 1-20 items, but from 40-70 its a grain of sand on the beach.
