Thread: MyLOTRO Down?

I tried 2 different browsers (Chrome + FireWeasel/FireChinchilla/FireRodent/FireFox, that's it!) and get the following error:

Fatal Error

If your blog does not display, please contact the owner of this site.

If you are the owner of this site please check that MySQL is running properly and all tables are error free.

Could Not Find Blog!
Searched for my.lotro.com/ in lotro_wordpress_global::wp_blo gs table. Is that right?

I assume this a temporary situation?

While I'd love to say we planned it, sadly we did not. We are investigating the issue and will have my.lotro.com back up as soon as possible.

Not a problem, but I figured I'd point out the obvious in case your SysAdmins hadn't noticed it. I know System Monitors have a habit of showing everything working A.O.K.! from the Server's perspective, even though the Apps running on them aren't actually behaving as intended. Unless an App throws a catchable Error, most Monitors aren't going to notice anything amiss.

I'm eager to see if I won a Lottery, but not so eager that I can't wait.

Server couldn't handle multiple people clicking on the profile of the guy in the "noob" thread that has ~80 characters?

I thought my Altitis was bad, but it ain't even a fraction of that! Yeah, that certainly would make me go running to My.LOTRO.com to check the "noob" out.

I know my mind is gone, but shouldn't there be lottery entries from the lotteries that started Monday and end Wednesday? In other words, I'm not seeing any current entries since the site came back up.

That self-proclaimed 'noob' only has 20 more characters than me, according to myLOTRO.

Nice catch. The lottery end times were moved to 3pm today instead of 9AM Tomorrow in an effort to avoid any possible issues as a result of Tomorrow's downtime.

There hasn't been any new lottos up and the list looks like its been cleared again. The patch was called off long ago too any is there any reason the normal lottos that were on going are not up and running at the moment? I haven't been able to play must for the past week and the lotro lottos have at least allowed me to do something. Thanks for the spring fling lottery also.

Read Sapience's post above, this week's Monday lotto was ended early. Also remember, the regular lottos begin and end on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; there wouldn't be any new ones up yet because yesterday was Tuesday.
